This is adorable! And I got to roundhouse kick some police, which is always nice. Very fun little game.

Fun little platformer. The high jump seems really janky, I kept not being able to jump right and dying in the pit. Very hectic with how fast you are.

Very cool game!

This is siiickkk!!! So cool. Amazing job.

I think you made an amazing tech demo of your skills with shaders and lights. Like other people have mentioned it seems like you just had a game to show off and the jam happened to be here. Also I do think the menu is incredibly annoying. I want to be bale to quickly spend my money and get back to the flashy lights, but they bounce around and it takes so much longer to click things.

I never even thought about that. Making a note to myself to add support for other keyboard layouts in future projects!

I have no words to describe what I just played. Thank you for the experience. Im sure I will not forget it easily

I have mixed feelings on this one. I do like a challenging platformer and some rage-game elements, but I feel this became difficult for the wrong reasons. Im not sure if the checkpoint was meant to be fake, or just didnt work, but it is extremely disheartening to get very far up and then clip inside a moving block and have to press r, only to see it takes you all the way back to the start. I also felt like the character controls were extremely unpredictable. Sliding off corners of blocks, air and ground acceleration feeling very different, the low jump height, and fast gravity all lent to a feeling of struggling because my character was janky, not because I could not get the timing or sequence figured out.

That being said the animation and artwork was really great. And suddenly turning background blocks into real walkable surfaces was so unexpected and cool.

The icon art is great, the concept is super interesting. Takes a but to figure out what is going on with the buttons, but then it becomes quite fun.

The card mechanic alone deserves so much praise. You made it fun just to move cards around.

Maomao!! Great reference. Love the calibration at the start hinting the puzzle mechanic.

Fun game! Phoenix Wright + Obra Dinn. My brain struggled to remember the icons and I kept overwriting my saved message, but other than that i had a good time.

Very cute artwork and animations. I think the combat felt a bit slow? Maybe would have liked being able to choose all the options at once, then play the animations. Also the giant cat who yoinked my entire team felt completely unfair. No way to do enough damage in one turn and disabling their abilities didn't seem to ever stop them. Maybe just a skill issue

An interesting little game. I was worried it would be really annoying from the first 2 waves, but once you get enough towers to stagger than and manage sleep cycles it becomes an interesting problem. Missing a lot of TD mechanics, but I am guessing that is due to time limitations. Really fun, great job!

Cute game. Could not figure out how to do much though haha

Hey, I love your art and want to talk about some future projects. If you are interested and have the time send me a message on discord: kingofthejukes

Hello, I am an experienced dev in Godot and want to form a team for this jam.

I have examples of my work on my itch page(its only jam games so far): https://kingofthejukes.itch.io/

Im looking to form a group of people who want to actively participate in the design and creation process. If you are interested please let me know or add me on discord: kingofthejukes

Hello, if you are still looking for a team, are you open to working in Godot? You can code c# in it, but it's own scripting language is very simple to learn if you are familiar with coding. I'd love to chat more on discord at KingOfTheJukes if you are interested!

Glad I snuck in one last review before the end. This was amazing. I also made a puzzle game and spent way too long on an editor. Yours looks so clean and fits the gameplay really well. Amazing job!

So I got a few levels in and was thinking to myself "this is very polished and looks good, but the concept is a bit simple". Then colors appeared. My mind was blown. Amazing job.

Wow, this is amazing! I love the art and the combat system is super interesting. I think there is a lot of dead time with the long load screens and how repetitive training is, but its so fun to look at I wasn't too upset.

Its games like this that make me relieved to read "This is not my first game jam". So well done. Incredibly polished and fun to play

This is a fun concept and I love the ragdoll physics. Probably could use a bit more tutorial about using items and stuff, but it was easy enough to click stuff until it worked

This is a lovely prototype! Obviously limited in scope, combat feels unresponsive, movement is smooth, but not particularly 'fun', etc. Those are all mechanical changes and for a jam, don't really matter much imo. I think you nailed an aesthetic and mood so well. Its one of those things where as soon as you open the game you want more. Amazing job! Love your art and design sensibilities.

Oooo! That could look really good. With the sort of structure you have, you could make different 'skins' for it. Maybe let th eplayer pick what they like, or use it to theme different world or something. Depends on how much you are wanting to add

I am such a sucker for a minimalist puzzle game, and this is exactly right. It felt so good to stare at a level for a few minutes imagining the route and then it all clicking into place perfectly. Amazing job!

Spot on lol. It was an easy to fix bug, but then when I started designing puzzles I realized I had a lot of ways to force the player to reserve weight and split, but not ways to merge together for progress, so I added the 'bug' back in.

Thank you! Yeah, stacking players and boxes is the biggest thing I ran out of time to polish. As such, I never designed a puzzle where you needed build a tower of players, though Im sure you can cheese a few levels if you did haha.

I see the idea of different spells having different purposes, but... I can't say no to shooting way too many projectiles everywhere. Very fun

Aside from my browser threatening to explode, this game was fabulous. A very serene area to wander around and listen to some music

As everyone said, very cute art direction. Felt good to play, just wish there was more

You captured the style and look of older games so well here. This was really fun to play through and soak in the vibes.

RTS cooking would never cross my mind. Quite tricky to play though. Maybe unit groups or something would help, I always ended up with too many guys doing the same thing. great concept though

Great vibes of whatever game wasnt blocked on the school computer for me. Very fun

Really fun once I played a few times and figured it out. Lovely art!

"Custom browser engine"??? That's amazing. It runs so well too. I never got more strategic than place all the units, but its a really nice game.

"Wonky" is a great word to describe it. Fighting all my blob friends to make a jump and watching them all jump off a cliff. Very enjoyable.

Love the puzzles. Only wish is for more, which is just what you want from a game. Baba is you vibes in the art and how complex simple mechanics can become.

Honestly, probably better puzzle design than my game. This was really delightful, though I believe I found zero secrets. Ran through it twice just because it was that fun.
