How does the game fit the theme?
You can't trust your own minions. They fall asleep, change their moods, and sometimes refuse to defend the tower.

Cute game, I have found the best tactic of putting them all around the middle part to cover for one another while they are asleep :)

I love tower defense games and was pleasantly surprised to see one made for this jam! I thought this was a fun twist because it actually had me thinking of where the optimal places to put each minion was. You have to try to make sure they cover enough ground but also don’t overlap too much cause they’ll end up shooting at the same enemies and fall asleep at the same time. Very cool!

P.S. I love the art for the itch.io title card!

It was really lovely! I’m a big fan of TD games, so I really enjoyed it. I also loved the part where the monsters fall asleep — it was really funny and cute!😅

Love me some TDs, was simple and fun! I feel like managing their sleep gets much easier the more of them you have by the later waves, since you can finally allow the little guys some deserved rest. XD

Fun little TD game! Love the wake up mechanic. Adding a 2x speed toggle for the late game would make it even better :D

Neat idea, I wish there was more risk reward to waking them up or not, seems like right now its always the right choice to wake them up if there are enemies nearby. But well done regardless!

Really solid little tower defense game! The controls feel good, the presentation is polished, and managing the moody minions gives the simple TD formula a fun little spin. Made it through to the end and had a good time throughout. Nice music as well!

I think you did well with how you escalated the difficulty each round to teach us how the mechanics work and how to play. I enjoyed this. Good job on building a complete TD game for the jam!

very silly, i liked their little indignant 'wahh' sounds when being woken up lol

A fun tower defense game. You really have to stay focused after a few waves to keep on top of all your minions. I think the minion animations might be a little bugged but overall I had a good time.

An interesting little game. I was worried it would be really annoying from the first 2 waves, but once you get enough towers to stagger than and manage sleep cycles it becomes an interesting problem. Missing a lot of TD mechanics, but I am guessing that is due to time limitations. Really fun, great job!

Great take on a tower defence game, this has a lot of potential as a much larger game. Its very adicting, and i just wanted more levels and units. Awesome job.

I like this little TD game. I wish there were more types of units

Nice TD game.  Not sure how it fits the theme though.
