How does the game fit the theme?
The core mechanic is all about deception.
Cards are passed face-down, and the sender can lie about what it is. If you blindly trust a Heal, you might get backstabbed.
But if you challenge them and they were telling the truth, you take the penalty!
Even the AI will bluff and betray you.
You constantly have to second-guess everything, literally forcing you to Trust No One.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
no,but I've actually tried to make a card game before and failed, so I brought what I learned from that failure into this project:D

Fun game! Really interesting idea, and I think you would be a REALLY fun physical party game. I just found it a bit confusing. Turns go too fast, with little to no animation or clear feedback on what’s happening at any time, although it doesn’t break the game or make it bad, just a little disorientating at first. Overall, quite a fun experience! Great job!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
Great game please rate my game
I had a lot of fun playing this game. Something that could be improved would be to add a lose screen, because sometimes I just went back to the menu and did not know how I lost... But I mean, for a game made by 1 person in 7 days, it does look really polished though, so it's alright :>
Great game ^^
Glad you enjoyed it!
At first I thought it should be another poker game, but a was pleasantly surprised! I wish there was multiplayer option, would be a cool feature after the jam.
Thanks for the compliment! I'm currently stuck on the P2P :D
It's a cool concept and a nice take on the theme. Good job!
I like the gameplay concept, where you can lie or tell the truth about the card types and effects. It’s a nice take on the theme. Good attempt on the design!
There was an audio glitch with the music that caused this really annoying buzzing sound that occurred like after 2 minutes of gameplay, not sure what that was about or if anyone else had that issue. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
Thanks! I suspect the buzzing sound might be the NPC's card announcement. I'll double-check and probably lower the volume :D
I really liked the overall concept, the design, and the cards. The only issue I had was with the resolution — my view was a bit limited. But the game was great! Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I liked the concept, even though most of it kinda went over my head (card games tend to do that for me.) I think it was pretty solid, I was just confused a bit early on.
Thanks for feedback:D
Nice game .
I really loved the concepts
Thanks!
Cool game, good use of the theme.
Thanks for feedback:D
Wow that was clever! Enjoyed it very much :D
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Fun game! I could see this being expanded in the future with a full tutorial and more enemy types!
Thanks for the reply!Figuring out how to do tutorials is one of the hardest parts of game dev!
What an excellent game! Great implementation of the theme, great mechanics, nice work on the AI too! I only wish it were a bit easier :P
Appreciate the response! I'm figuring out how to make it more intuitive at a glance :D
What a very interesting game! Honestly, if this game was made as a board game, I would 100% buy it! I do feel like the game needs a bit more visual feedback to signify the effects of the card whether it heals, attacks, or defends. At the moment, it just kinda skips over with a cross if someone got something wrong which is a bit unclear. The rules were pretty simple once I got to play a couple of rounds. I would probably play this with my friends as well if there's an online version of it! The sound effects and music were simple but implemented super well into the game and the graphics are pretty cleann! Great work!!
Glad you like my game :D
Might need some time to grasp what happen during the game. But reading from the rules below, i get some understanding altough not 100%. But i foolishly challange the enemy and get my 4 HP to 0. The tutorial can be improved with a step by step dialog box. Good game, actually. Love it!
Thanks for feedback,I'm trying to figure out the best way to present the tutorial.
I too also randomly get sent back to the lobby. It happens a turn after one of the other players are killed.
I think its a really interesting concept and fun gameplay loop. My only issue is that I HATE READING so I did enough reading of the rules to a get a gist, and then tried fully picking up the game by playing it but the game moved a bit too fast for me to fully understand what was going on. Even after I went back to re-read the rules turns moved too quickly for me. Either a longer timer or a log would be really helpful if you decided to keep developing this. But great work for a solo dev :D
Sorry I ran out of time for the win/lose animations. I should've added a 3 second delay before the menu!
I'm trying to figure out a better tutorial presentation and tweaking card animations to show targets clearly. Adding those animations will actually solve the issue of players playing cards too fast :D
I randomly get thrown out of games. Idk what is happening.
Amazing work for one dev!
Sorry, I ran out of time to make the win and lose animations. I really should've added a 3 second delay before returning to the menu :D
Lol all good
oooh cards :3 ilovecardsOwO
i like the game btw just a bit of polishing and its a ready game for steam
start with improving the cards visual side
mao!Glad you like it!
I'm figuring out how to tweak the card visuals :3
I really liked the art and the soundtrack. But the visuals during the card playing part were a little confusing to me. I suggest better highlighting the card that a player passed to you, but that's my opinion. Needed some time to figure out everything, but I really like the card game you made. Good job.
I'm also figuring out how to make card animations more intuitive for showing the target. Plus, just adding these animations will mostly fix the issue of cards being played way too fast :D
