the visuals and audio were really good. I got caught off guard by multiple jumpscares.
The game was very fun to play. I wasnt able to make it to the end since I had to leave.
overall a fun experience.

How does the game fit the theme?
It uses signs to guide the player that may lead them closer to escaping or leading them to a trap.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
My good friend made the soundtrack for me. Used https://pixabay.com/sound-effects/search/game/ and https://mixkit.co/free-sound-effects/game/ for a few sound effects. Used unity's first person starter assets. Used SimpleFX from unity's asset store and used some mixamo animations. Everything else was made from scratch by me
How many people worked on the game?1
This game was loads of fun. I figured out who to trust eventually. It should be fairly obvious considering it's one of the first things you read after launching the game.
I wasn't able to beat it though. I typed in the code and eventually made it to the sign that says to jump on the platform but literally couldn't find aforementioned platform anywhere. Couldn't progress past that.
Actually, the last right turn is the left. The right turn goes to the "Jump on the platform" part which actually fills the floor with poison acid that damages you over time. It's little twist that the last turn is actually left :)
Right after that is the last puzzle with the levers and you are home free!
Thanks so much for playing!
Cool and tense game! I died teh first time following the sign and started going right every time. I would love to finish the game but sadly my computer crashed on the 3 turn right. For what I could see, the enviroment is pretty cool and gives a cool inmersive experience, and the idea seem cool. Very good job to be able to do something like this for a jam! :)
First of all, the maze looks absolutely gorgeous!! I really love how you used the assets, the torches are incredibly well designed, and the UI and text all look beautiful too!
And I have to admit, this is probably the scariest jumpscare game I've played in this game jam so far. The first time I died, I screamed so loudly that even my dog jumped up to check on me XD
After the second time, whenever I saw a sign telling me to go left, I only went right instead... I thought maybe you were playing some kind of word trick on me XD Then, just when I thought I was finally about to reach the end, I saw the angry sign and went, "OH NO, RUN!! THERE'S ANOTHER WAY!!" ...and got the bad ending still.
I don't think I can handle a third attempt. My heart is already beating way too fast TT
Really great game!! But I need to go drink some water first XD
Really a nice game. I also liked the camera shake that was building tension. Great work! Keep building!
Great Job! Nice Visuals and I can say I actually Enjoyed Playing Too! Keep Up The Good Work!
Great dungeon design with fantastic environmental art. I haven't found the right exit yet, and I got totally trolled by that 'turn right' four times :D
Yoooo that was a fun game! I love the atmosphere and the aesthetics of the game. Pretty cool use of the theme too, great work :)
Nice project, this aesthetic could be something new! Starting from the main menu was beautiful, a bit confusing since i was trying to use the mouse instead of the keyboard, when i started the sensitivity was too low, the atmosphere was beautiful with nice sound but the way you implemented the theme was really predictable and forced. That is my honest feedback
Thanks for your honest feedback. I agree about the mouse thing, I kinda missed with that. I didn't have a lot of time to develop the game because of some life stuff, but glad I finished almost everything I envisioned. I wish I implemented settings to change the sound, mouse sensitivity and brightness, but that may come in a different version.
The visuals are cool. But I couldn't find the sound settings. It fits the theme. Great job!
