I love how expressively you use color and text, as well as the blank frames! I could tell what was going on despite the low number of pixels, which is super impressive

Developer

i appreciate that πŸ˜… when i thought of the blank frame thing i practically shoved em everywhere lmao i wanted to control the pacing but i mayv gone a bit too far lolol

I love the swapping between a different color for each frame, dramatic contrast of the saturated colors against the sharp black background, and the text conveying the emotion of the scene. Clean letters when the voice is dreary and unsure, and large almost blurry letters for high emotion/intensity in the voice. The way this paints a whole scene and a journey is wonderful, love this so much

i very much so appreciate your kind words πŸ™ˆ alot of deliberacy went into it whenever i felt i had the time to pull it off lolol hope u could still read the words regardless πŸ˜…

Awesome work with a very limited color pallet! Some frames were hard to read for me (especially the note), but is expected with a pixelated font :) such an amazing little mystery

Developer(+1)

i appreciate it πŸ™ˆ i didnt have enough mental clarity to increase the resolution to make the text more legible lol ur nice comments mean alot alot alot 😭

This is awesome!! I love how much you conveyed with these images-- the suspense building is 10/10-- with both the minimal art-style pics and the super detailed ones (like the eye 0_0). Thanks for commenting on my art, too!

Developer(+1)

ur too sweet πŸ™ˆ i get into a flow sometimes and the detailed ones just happen heh πŸ‘οΈ

i wanted to tell a storyy and pure black images was my way of doing that suspense lmaoo i hope it looked finee i heard from ppl that it looks like garbage on mobile 😭

rip about mobile-- well i can't speak to the mobile rendering, since i couldn't figure out how to download the images on mobile and i think i couldn't see the images without doing that soo

Developer

idkkk it should still show the screenshots at the top and u just scroll to the side πŸ˜… i didnt want to make em downloadable cuz Erin said to prioritize screenshots over downloads lolol

omg, it DOES look like the NES games, you really pulled off the look! and I'm impressed you were so detailed with some of the drawings even with such a limited palette

and thanks for the praise, I definitely over-scoped, so I'm glad it came out decent πŸ˜
