I'll be honest, I haven't played much Pokémon so I didn't recognize nosepass at first (embarrassing), and I was confused for a sec...But now that I know what it is, I think you did a good job depicting him! I think you managed really well with such a limited palette, the outlines around the characters help them stand out against the background which was a good choice. Although I did think the map was part of the trainer's shirt at first because of the limited colors, so you could try a white outline along the top of it and see if that helps (or maybe it would be weird). Overall impressive work with the shading!

I don’t know if you’re a fan of Brandon James Greer (also goes by BJGpixel) but this very much reminds of his work! Which is a big compliment, he’s probably my favorite pixel artist! I REALLY like how many ways you used the same 4 colors for different kinds of linework, lighting, and shading. Especially doing a Pokémon piece, this one really reminds me of the way the old Pokémon sprites got shaded, except yours also has all of the polish and refinement of a full art piece. Your linework is great, all the shapes are so clear, clean, and recognizable. While scrolling the submissions page I caught your thumbnail out of the corner of my eye and instantly recognized Nosepass. You’re very talented and I love your artistic style!
Wow! That's a huge compliment!! I really look up to Brandon James Greer, I guess he has influenced my style haha! I mostly base my style off of how the Pokémon TCG on the GBC made their art for cards, so that's probably why it looks so similar. Thank you for all of the compliments! Lowkey really needed those today <3

ooo my fav mightt be heartgold 👀 just so much stuff to do and so many pokermans and the following pokemon and 2 regions and the environments just absolute cinema 👐 black n white had some viiibes tho , having black myself - u kinda makin me wanna replay it lol
