I really like the idea.

The only problem I seem to have is clicking on the objects sometimes didn't do anything, resulting in me falling which was really frustrating.

With some minor adjustments this game could really improve a lot.

Neat game, interesting core loop.

Clicking the jump points felt like my inputs were dropped sometimes. Unsure if it's a time window thing (I had already died) or a hitbox precision thing. I think that given how short the window of opportunity is, a more generous hitbox (or larger window) would be nice since a lot of that time is spent waiting for the camera to move into place. The camera felt way too slow in general.

The "tutorial" mode didn't actually explain to do at all, what was its purpose?

I really liked the game !

Even if I'm bad at mouse-input games, the climbing felt satisfying.

Music & SFX are nice. Artstyle is good too.

I haven't fully understood the story with Lattice, but that wasn't really a problem to play.

A nice improvement would have been to slightly enlarge the click detection areas, as sometimes they are missed by only a few pixels.

Good work !

Thank you so much! As the person who worked on the art and story, I'm really glad you liked the art style! I admit the story with Lattice might be a bit abstract/mysterious, but I'm happy it didn't stop you from enjoying the game. I'll definitely let my teammate know that you found the climbing satisfying. You are totally right about the click detection areas—we realize they are a bit too strict right now and we definitely plan to enlarge those hitboxes. Thanks for the great feedback and for playing!

Amazing! The climbing was so satisfying! This is one of my favorites when it comes to gameplay!

Developer(+1)

Wow, thank you so much! Hearing that our game is one of your favorites for gameplay is a massive compliment. I'll definitely pass this on to my teammate who worked so hard on making the climbing mechanics feel just right. We're thrilled that you found it satisfying! We'll be sure to check out 'Wired' too!

Such a cute fun game! I really enjoyed the background story, the art and music are great. The gameplay was challenging and fun and pretty easy to quickly adapt to. I like the concept a lot. Sometimes it won't register my click, I played with a mouse, but I still managed to beat it! Would love to play more of it :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for rating our game and including it in your favorites! We had such a great time working on it; the limitation from the jam was a really fun challenge to tackle for the art and gameplay. We appreciate your support!

It's fun, if a bit frantic for my tastes. Probably better on mobile. I was definitely clicking on some *valid* spaces but still falling.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for giving it a try! We totally get that the frantic pace might not be for everyone. You are completely right about the clicking issue, too we've realized the hitboxes are a bit too unforgiving right now, making it feel like you missed a valid space when you actually didn't. We're definitely planning to fix that to make it fairer. Thanks for the great feedback!

I was surprised with how much fun I had with this game, though it was certainly challenging. It's a neat and creative concept, and overall, some really solid work! Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We are thrilled to hear that you had a lot of fun despite the challenge. We really tried to push for a creative concept, so knowing you think it's solid work means a lot to our team. Thanks for playing!

It's a cool concept, definitely feels like a fun little mobile game (which i did try playing it on). Felt like a lot of my touches weren't going through, maybe make the areas bigger? I think I preferred the auto scroll section personally but the regular ones could use some extra float time just to give you some more reaction time, at least in the beginning.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for taking the time to test it on mobile! You are completely right about the touch areas—we've been hearing that the hitboxes are a bit too small, so making them bigger is definitely on our to-do list. Also, adding some extra float time at the beginning to give players a better reaction window is a fantastic suggestion. We really appreciate your detailed feedback!

interesting game! Maybe the trigger between the objects and the cursor is a bit small and it makes the game harder

Developer(+1)

Glad you found it interesting! Thank you for the feedback. You make a great point about the trigger size; the interaction areas might be a bit too strict right now. We'll definitely take note of this to make it smoother!

Really lovely idea! Great art and audio here too. That said, I found it frustrating trying to climb much beyond the first screen—I just don't have the kind of reaction time needed to really succeed here. I'd be curious how it'd play differently if there was a grace period or some other mechanic (time dilation/slow-mo?)  after collecting a valence to let me target the next hole.

Developer

We are truly grateful that you took the time to play our game and leave such detailed feedback. As a small team, hearing your thoughts means the world to us and really helps us improve.

I kion'd all the avalanches

cute game! reminds me of a cinematic doodle jump

Developer(+1)

WOOOWWW... you are one of the few who actually beat the game!! Your determination was just like Kion hungering for equilibrium.

This was a fun little game! I really like the mechanics and it provided a good challenge. I do think it can be a bit frustrating at times though. I think if the player fell a bit slower it would make it feel a little less punishing to miss click.

Developer

Ahh, thanks for the feedback... you make a really good point! We'll try to do even better in the next jam!!

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed the game, but I wish players had more time to think about when to jump to the right square, since I didn't have enough time to click the mouse button in time and land precisely on the right square.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! This is incredibly valuable for us as we continue to develop the game further.

Is quite enjoyable, I didn’t quite realise that you didn’t have to hit every single box so was getting stuck down the bottom at first. Made it a fair way up. Up to like the third level and then I got called away to help out my son. Will probably return to try and finish later on in the jam. Well done

Developer

We're so glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you for leaving a comment and rating it. :)

The idea is fun, but i had some frustration playing, sometimes i click on the right symbol but still falls down... probably i am just not good enough for rhythm games.

We really appreciate you taking the time to play and review our game. :)
