One of the best entries of the jam !

The storie was really emotional, I loved it. It wasn't a simple visual novel.

Music was really nice, animations are all really polished, and you did awesome work with shaders.

I don't know what to say... this should win !

Developer(+1)

Thank you! and turns out… I WON! 3rd place is amazing thanks all for the support. 2nd in audio is great thanks to my composer. 1st in polish? WOW I felt like I needed more polish like physics sound effects and particle effects. I also had a bunch of other places for polish in mind but looking back, yeah this game is pretty good.

Was a nice little game, shame how few reviews you've gotten.

My one real complaint is that some of the images get a little hard to tell what they are with the filter, i feel like some editing could have been done to make things clearer for them

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I got that issue in testing. I wish I had time to go through and really make everything clear but thanks for playing!

I would mostly skip dialogs and text-walled visual novels, BUT this one was undeniably effective and some of them have physics interaction, I hardly skipped a word in this game.

I hope this inspires many others to make interesting and hard to look away dialogs like this game.

Developer

Thanks so much! I was going to cave in and make dialogue skippable in game, but I decided ultimately not to because I decided to trust that my games is good instead of trying to mr beast everyone into playing my game no matter if the actually enjoy it or not. Thanks for playing and saying this.

Severely underrated, I love games like this. Deserves more plays for sure. Well done :)

Developer

Thank you, I recently discovered that all the games I’ve ever mad have been delisted. This means that my games don’t show up when you search for them and they always appear at the bottom of the popularity ratings next to other delisted games. I’ve tried contacting itch.io staff about it but so far, no response.

Wow, I loved it. I really hope this wins.

Developer

Thanks so much! I don’t know what to say, this is the best game I’ve ever made and it’s also personal I knew it was good when I wrote it but I didn’t expect people cheering me on to win. Thanks so much for the support I appreciate it.

It shocked me 🤯. This story is so emotional! This is extremely inspiring and it made me think. If this wins the jam, I would be happy!

Developer

Thank you! I don’t think I’ve had complemets this high for any og my games before. I’m glad people are enjoying the more personal message I’ve put into my game.

It only took 8 game jams but I finally have a game with a good story. I can start trying to make a game with good gameplay.

Well done! I didn't notice any performance issues in the web build. I hope this game planted some seed in my mind that helps me release on Steam one day.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yes it contains success benifits, trust me bro.

This was so good! The story was so well told and the visuals were amazing. This is one of my favorite entries so far.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing my game! I’m glad you enjoyed the story. I got inspired to make the story about inspiration by my lack of inspiration for a story, only remembering the inspiration I’ve had after a good story, was the reference and target feeling I wanted to convey after my games story.

glad you understood my beautifully worded comment.

I’m not crying, you are. Was a beautiful story and had some fun physics interactions. The cutscenes were nice. I’m a big fan of narrative games.

Developer

Thank you for playing my game, I’m glad you enjoyed it. When I wrote the line: “This game… How did I make it” I literally got shivers down my spine. This game feels very connected to my state of mind about creating art. Once again I’m glad you enjoyed it.
