Great game! The mini game switching is fun, and they are all satisfying.

The beginning is a bit confusing, but you catch on quick enough.

It would be nice to be able to switch screens with the arrow keys or WASD.

I got this bug though, which made me lose the game.
A Client appeared that wanted 0 of a resource, and I couldn't give any to them.

Developer

Thank you for the suggestion, we'll take it into consideration!

As for the bug you found, we're already aware of it and will fix it as soon as the voting for the jam is over.

Cute mini games, I loved the reactions of the clients when you game them the orders!

A little confused at start, but it didn't took me long to understand, and then I felt like the I could keep going for very long, because the difficulty never arrived.

Overall, the game is fine, simple mini-games, nice art.

Developer

Thank you!

We tried to implement a difficulty that scales with time before the deadline, but we didn't make it.

We'll implement it in the next few days when we can update the game.

Love the music! I sort of figured out what to do in the middle/top/bottom scenes but not sure how the orders work.

Developer

Thanks!

Once the jam voting is over and we can update the game, we'll try to make the minigames and order scenes more understandable.

Nice game : combining minigames is a good concept.

I had some trouble to figure out what to do for the minigame with the face I had to click. Some tutorial, even a small text would be nice (ig you can still add instructions on the jam page).

But the artstyle is nice, and I really liked both music and SFX.

Good work !

Developer(+1)

thaaank you!! we temporanelly added the instructions on the jam page! we certainly want to make more clearerer how to play the game!

Still don’t quite know what I’m doing, but I had fun playing. I like the idea of not using a wall of text, but you need to find a way to inform the player what is happening. Mechanics worked well though.

Developer

Thanks!

we're already thinking about it, as soon as the jam is over we'll make some updates to improve communication with the player

The gameplay was a lot of fun once  I figured out what I was supposed to do! I think a little written tutorial on the page would be really helpful. With a few bug fixes I could see myself playing this for quite a while!

The art was very nice!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

when the jam is over we plan to make some fixes to both the gameplay and graphics to help understand how to play

Took a second to figure out but was actually really cool! I did get hit with an order that wanted zero wrenches and end up losing to it though lol

Developer (1 edit)

Oh whoops thars a bug.. thank you for your words!!

Submitted(+1)

I gotta say the way this game is strictly symbols and such is really cool. My only issue is that I had absolutely no clue how to play or what I was doing and when I did lose I didn’t really understand why. It took me a bit to figure out that I needed to collect resources to give to the creatures but once I did have the resources I didn’t know how to give them to said creatures. The visual style is awesome and the sounds really fit the game. Like with many other games in this jam, its such a good start and some tweaking and polish could get it to that extra level of awesomeness

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

We tried not to use wall-of-text tutorials and instead used visual keys for the minigames, but we didn't really think about how to teach the player how to give resources to creatures.

It definitely needs some polish in this regard.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your words :D oh yea you're right! We didn't have enough time to playtest it properly and we'll certainly polish it a bit and change a bunch of thing to communicate better to the player!

This is a really cool idea! I wish there was a tutorial, it's a bit confusing when you first jump into it. I also think there may be a bug where the warning never goes away, although I may also be misunderstanding something. The visuals and audio are really nice!

Developer

Thanks! i agree that with a tutorial the game would be easier to understand.

We originally planned to make a short story mode and endless one, but due to time constraints and bugs we decided to just make the endless mode.

(as for the bugs, yeah there are a lot of, but i'm trying to fixing all of them)

Developer

I'm sorry for the issues the build had,
it was very late when i uploaded the game so i couldn't test it properly, both the download and the HTML file should now work (aside from the bugs that are still present in the game).

Web build doesn't work, I won't rate it for now so do try to contact the organizers

Thanks! I played it, art and sounds are spot-on, and fit the theme perfectly.
