i have no idea why i joined, i just found the idea of a game jam so funny, i had to try at least once !

also i can't code for like (i only know a bit of html), don't know any music composing software or website, but ! i can draw. and i often feel very silly. that's gotta count for something, right ?

I've joined to use it as a break from my main project, a "mini vacation"

well, i was working on my really hard first project which is on 10% done and i got very tired and realised that i ALWAYS wanted to participate in a game jam no matter what, and i signed up on itch.io just to find random game jam that starts soon and i saw this and since im not that good in coding and drawing i decided to join this :P hope this will be fun for everyone

I just need to make a game, man. that's all I want!

All my previous attempts at learning serious game engines have failed. Thus, I shall try for a not-serious game.

I can web-dev and doodle. A simple HTML5 game akin to paperclips or hidden-object is certainly within my abilities.

cool I can not do most of the things

are you an npc from skyrim, man you sound so inspiring!

I have never been called a Skyrim NPC before. Unfortunately, you are right.

Thank you for the kind words!

I joined purely because I like jerbob’s channel. And because I want to become a full time game dev and need practice!

1. I've never done (completed) a game jam before.
2. I have this goofy/dumb game idea, and I've procrastinated on it for years.  Well, more like forgot.
3. I really need to keep adding to my library of actual (finished) games.  My country's government loves to make my life hell so writing games has been on the backburner for years off and on.
4. When done (as in, not just after the gamejam but when I'm satisfied with it), I'll release it as a free game on the Windows store.  And yeah, I'll port it to macOS and Linux too, when I feel like it.  A game jam seems like a decent way to advertise if it's popular.

Just wanna try to make something, and have fun.

Because Jerbob and it can just be silly not super serious

I’ve never completed a jam or a game because I loose interest very quickly. like I am really good at making systems, coding, and stuff but I suck at the story/system part and the perfectionist in me says all ideas or story’s I make are horrible so I lose interest and motivation. If I do a short game jam like this, and I don’t need to make anything good — since it’s supposed to be bad — then I’m not limited by my inner perfectionist and can actually finish something.

I told myself I could learn C in a month. Between 3 unfortunate events I kinda still don't know what I'm doing. But I'll figure it out. :D

Cause I've never participated in a game jam before, and I wanted to challenge myself with the 60 hour  limit

We(me and a friend) have a end of the year project to submit and we wanted after a long break from uni to go back into game designing so here we are

You all are amazing people!

I just got into learning how to make games a few months ago, and didn't know what to do on my birthday, and then saw that this jam will be held in that time frame and thought why not make it my first! So here i am, after a family celebration, drawing and coding away on my bday :D

HAPPY BDAY! :DDDDD

im just trying to find a reason to release a game and have motivation so I wont scrap anything.... and also cuz I might be talked abt on a youtube channel lol
