DUDE TS WAS PEAK, WHY HAVENT MORE PEOPLE PLAYED THIS????

Well done, good 3d Animations and characters.  It played very well and the interface was very usable.  You were very successful in making exactly as your video pitch described.  I didn't play much or past many levels.  I'm sure there is the possibility for numerous maze like additions that can be added, not sure if you have such -- for example.  Have your character move to pick up a weapon or tool that can be used when the attack action is run, etc.

Mixing combat with coding, I don’t think I ever seen that before. Good job.

Developer

Thanks! :)

Really cool concept! This was a fun game! I love the Art of the character and the enemies, and music was great too! I am a story guy so it would have been cool if there was a story to the game, but beside thats this is an extremely polished and fun experience!

Developer

I wanted to add some kind of story to the game but during the jam it just wasn’t a huge priority. I do have some ideas for the story and I’ll hopefully get to add that into the game at some point after the jam. Regardless, I’m happy to hear you had fun! :)

Submitted

Wow, as someone who is not usually a huge fan of tactical or turn based games this was surprisingly fun! The visuals are awesome, and the gameplay was interesting and engaging! Great job!

Developer

Thanks! :)

I really liked the game play on this game. The animations were clean and so was the rest of the art. I wish that you would have managed to add more actions that you unlock throughout the game in the jam time though. It would have been so cool to line up something like a multi shot attack.

Developer

I was planning to add some sort of level up system where you would choose a new action to add to your arsenal but I didn’t have enough time for that. I’m definetely going to try to add that in after the jam though. Thanks for playing :)

damn! Best game I have played so far. I loved it, love the effects, the programming, the animations, the sound, the music fading, the tiny cut scenes, the different enemies. Well done! For a solo dev!? This is peak.
i did not know i could drag stuff in and move it around a delete stuff hahaha but thats my bad tbh... (although maybe a little trashcan somewere might help?

Apart from that hats off!

this deserves top of the charts

Developer

Yea I’m definetely going to add some kind of small tutorial or explanation for the battle system as a lot of things are left unexplained (like how you can also delete stuff with right click). I also really appreciate all of your kind remarks :)

I love Tactical rpgs. so this was just a blast to play. i think the artstyle is good and gameplay is well thought through:)

Developer

Thanks! :)

Short and sweet. Those coding robots types of games were some of my favorites when I was a kid. This really captured the vibes and what made them fun. I also liked the variation between the enemies, and how my strategy had to change to deal with them. I also like the whole energy thing, adds more to think about.

Developer

Thanks! Funny thing is, the energy system is basically identical to how mana works in Mewgenics. I just felt it worked for this game pretty well.

Its pretty fun, just 2 annoyances. First, the left turn command has a arrow turning right, which made it a little hard to orient, and would be a really easy fix. more importantly, though, there didnt really feel like a sense of progression. you never get any new abilities, just fight different enemies. great job for a jam, it could be made into a full release

Developer(+1)

Damn, kind of shocked I didn’t notice the arrow being the wrong way. I’m definitely going to fix that, thanks for pointing that out! I was also planning to add a level up system to the game, where you can choose between a couple of new actions to get, but I didn’t have enough time to add it. I’m definitely going to update this game after the jam and maybe it’ll even get a full release some day? We’ll see. Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate it :)

This is a ton of fun and very well polished. The combat was fun and each of the enemies were unique. Amazing job on the game!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

O this is clever. I really like how you have to plan out the movement. Makes it easy to mess up but also makes it more engaging.

Developer

Thanks! I had to nerf and adjust the enemies a lot until they felt forgiving enough because when my family playtested the game they would constantly mess up the movement lol

pretty fun also boss was actually kind of difficult

Developer

Thanks. I was worried the boss level was maybe too difficult or too easy but it seems that it strikes a nice balance

yea i lost the first time i tried it

Awesome style, I really enjoyed looking at it. I'm not the biggest fan of the program based combat, but it was pretty fun :))

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Glad to hear it was still somewhat fun for you :)
