Really fun concept, having to think about what might be able to cause the injury was fun, wish the other evidence matterd more though.

My favorite game in the jam. Unfortunately I can't rate it, but if I could I'd give it 5 stars on almost everything! I would love to see this idea expanded on in the future, maybe having different levels be different rooms with different items. One great idea I have is that you should be able to visit the crime scene and mess with stuff to make your "evidence" more believable.  Maybe breaking a window with a chair if you said a chair was the weapon.

This game was a lot of fun and had quality at every turn, but I did get softlocked on top of the box you submit evidence to 😂.

The concept is super cool and I liked what I played and I really like the art direction. All of the 3D models are great. Unfortunately, I found it really hard to understand how to complete the cases a lot of the time.

Perhaps it's the jetlag, but what are you actually supposed to do?  There's only a blank image in the evidence box and I can't find a knife. I'll update this and give a review when I can get the ball rolling...
EDIT: Now that I know how to get some evidence, great game idea! Fantastic assets for the setting, and fitting music.

All of the evidence as well as the knife and gun should be in the big evidence box, though admittedly I likely should have done the evidence box a lot better.

(After watching a video of someone playing my game, I realize that most people might not jump around as much as I do, and the box looks very empty at normal height.)

seems like a fun game though i could nopt nfigurenout what iw as doing wrong, i seemed to have all the evidence matched up for a perefect case and it would not accept it, really enjoyed the music and artstyle though

This is such a fun concept! And the level of polish in the presentation was great. The credits were really fun to look through, and the character of the detective being shown through the notes on each item in the tutorial was a great touch. Also, that video pitch is great! I think one of my only gripes is that the evidence box feels kind of unwieldy; this is probably more on me (I'm kinda hopeless at puzzle games), but it took me about 5 minutes in the tutorial to figure out that there was more than one thing inside, and when I did I had to toss everything out to get to the weapon. The tutorial text might've also benefited from being more concise. I feel like the concept was a lot clearer when it was explained more briefly in the video.

This game is genuinely so amazing. Usually I write a whole lot of feedback but this game was genuinely so good that there’s not much you could improve. That said, finding the locations and witnesses in the box was a bit difficult, and it might have been better if there was some sort of menu or something for it. I also wasn’t able to make it past the third case without crashing unfortunately, which sucks a lot because this game is so good. I haven’t heard of anyone else having issues with crashing so it’s probably just me for some reason, and obviously I won’t change my rating based on it. Amazing work!! Hopefully I can get it to not crash so I can play through all of it after the jam.

The gameplay is really fun and very creative, although I found as I kept playing, the red strings would just overlap and not disappear which did get in the way a little bit, but I found it funny and it's so, so minor it doesn't matter.

Also, I HAVE to mention the immense detail in all the textures! Seriously, I spent more time looking at everything than actually solving. The details like being able to barely see "North C. Case" labelled on the door backwards, and seeing the name further on the framed degrees. Along with the personality given with looking at the objects, and the really neat fake game posters. The music is really atmospheric when paired with the lighting too.

Overall, this is awesome and unbelievably polished! Great Work! :)

really damn good video pitch, and the game was really fun to learn and figure out (after I had to reset because the first time I tried to play it just decided I wasn't allowed to submit anything), great work on this

Fun Concept with a lot of room to add new features if you continue development.

This is the most fun I've had roleplaying a washed up detective from the 40s. This consumed hours of my life, and it will continue to consume more. I love the visuals, I love the music, I love the puzzles. Please make a full release, I need it to feel joy in my life again.

Neat idea

The video pitch for this actually came across my feed naturally, that means it was not only an amazing video but also algorithm tuned, AKA exactly what a good game trailer wants to be. Phenomenal job all around!

love the concept :)

Admittedly I keep getting stuck due to running out of witnesses, but I mean it overall is pretty neat!!
