How does your game fit the theme?
The context of the game is that you play as an indie developer working on a very rough, early version of their game. In game development, this is called a “Greybox,” and it is used to test mechanics and level layouts before adding more detailed assets. The art style reflects this.
There are also the boxes that you place onto the incomplete levels, which are based on the ability to add a cube mesh, similar to how it is done in Unreal Engine.

This is really polished!
cool idea loved the gameplay and it was super fun
a VERY diffrent approach, i like it i had fun playing it. 10/10 no drama
this is the most enjoyable game i've tried out so far! i'm generally a fan of platformers so this hit a special niche for me. the movement is nice and i really like the artwork, especially in the edit screen. i'm a bit of a dumbass so i couldn't make it past the 3rd level lol. keep up the good work!
Love the idea! It's a little tedious to have to go back and forth between the editor and level but I think the game was still pretty fun. Love the effort in the pitch too haha.

The video pitch was awesome and I really enjoyed the animations on the main character. The levels had me really having to stop and think where to use my limited boxes, although sometimes the main character clipped into the floor and got stuck, sometimes they wallslid on air too. But disregarding the bugs it was really fun!
Love the idea, I'm not fun of the platformers, so I'm not sure if the jumps were indeed a bit clunky or it's just me really bad at platforming. (more biased to the second option tho...)
Really clever idea. The “build the rest of the level” mechanic makes even small layouts feel brainy and satisfying. The movement and wall jumps feel mostly great, though a bit finicky at times. I liked how the greybox editor vibe ties into the theme.
The concept is simple yet fun. The controller is really well made, it is difficult to make a character that feels responsive and nice to use so great job on that! I won't mention the wall jump since others already have. The music was also nice to listen to while coming up with the solutions to these puzzles. All in all it's a great game!
First off amazing pitch loved it! The game while simple is def a lot of fun I made it to level 7 and had a great time coming up with solutions for the levels I did go through! One issue I had was the wall jump could be a little finicky but after getting used to it I felt like a speed demon lol. Also, a really refreshing platformer as the idea is really creative!
I am really glad you enjoyed it! Your game was amazing as well and I had a lot of fun playing it.
A great platformer with a great mechanic. I really like the concept

hello! here is a review:
things that I liked about this game:
I think the Background music is a good. It's not annoying or repetitive to listen to.
The player character is cool & I like their little dance. (Do they have a name?)
I also like how the game takes place in a game engine (Godot I am assuming based off the level select screen and edit function).
things that i did not like:
Wall-jumping was sometimes tricky to pull off (but it was manageable)
I couldn't get past level 7. I'm assuming the solution is the place 2 vertical moving platforms to traverse up the spiked walls at the start, however the second moving platform I use would not spawn in unless I hit the spikes.
I think this is a nice start to the games I will be commenting on for this game jam.
Thank you for the review. I have seen a lot people having issues with the wall jump. I am already working on making it easy to use and will update it as soon as the voting period is over.
Like I said on Discord, very creative idea, that I had never seen before myself, I guess I am out of the loop tho lol...
Pretty fun game, and although the idea isnt very new it still is fun and has some clever implementations. The music is great but gets repetitive, and the artwork is pretty good but could use some work. The video pitch is neat, too. The game is very engaging, 4s and 5s.
Though, I found a pretty major bug, where if you wall slide, let go by switching directions then immediately turn back and jump, you perform a wall jump mid-air and are able to scale an isolated wall. Don't know if it just has to do with the web build but it probably does since that was the reason for it in some other godot games ive seen.

Genuinely have no idea how to beat lvl 2
It was a cool idea that I had a some fun with! The art fits with the theme so it is cool too.
Great Game! Restarting the level was kinda odd and I couldn't figure out how to beat the second level, but It was a great experience. Love the character sprite.
Cool little puzzle platformer! The only part that I was maybe not too fond of was the fact that entering the level editor makes you restart the level, but I understand that logistically it would be really hard to implement as you could probably break a lot of the levels by manipulating the physics. Overall, really interesting game and the shorts pitch was unique too!
