Bugs found in version 0.2.2.9

1. If you start with the Military background (+20 energy), and then buy a bed (+10 energy), it'll knock the energy amount down to 110 instead of adding to it for 130.

+Further examination shows that the +20 Energy bonus from the military background also disappears of it's own accord around Day 6. If this is an intended gameplay mechanic, then it's fine.+

2. Streaming seems to be bugged after a point, with issues such as actions seeming to require more energy than stated, not properly receiving tips and ending streams with no money gained, and ending streams with a negative energy amount and not blacking out.

+Further examination shows the bug started after buying something from the Streaming Shop. However, it could also be that the streaming options (Cute/Naughty/Set Tip Goal/No Tip Goal) are what is causing the issue.+

3. There's also a bug involving wardrobe items and save states; where if you load a point before you bought an item, it will be removed from your wardrobe but also remain listed as owned in the store when you try to re-buy it. This makes the item unattainable.

These are what I've discovered so far. All in all, you're doing great at dealing with these bugs; as well as the game in general. Keep up the good work 👍.

thanks for finding those bugs! As I’m already far ahead in 0.2.3 (next content patch), I won’t hotfix these 3 separately. But I’ll fix them all for 0.2.3.

Easy fix. The energy calculation only looks at bed upgrades and forgets about your background bonus. So every night it recalculates and poof, your Military +20 is gone. Same reason the bed sets it to 110 instead of 130.
Found multiple issues in the streaming system. The Ring Light perk wasn’t actually reducing energy costs, the tip overlay math was off, and there’s a path where energy can go negative without properly triggering a blackout. All getting reworked.
This one’s a save sync issue. When you load an older save, the shop still sees the purchase flag (“owned”) but the inventory doesn’t reconstruct the item from it. Adding a reverse-sync on load so items get restored from their purchase flags.

Also, regarding the save sync issues, I'm gonna guess that's also what caused my saves to disappear just now? The 'continue' main menu option works well for that though 😅.

With 0.2.3 there will be a lot more bugs to hunt as there are many new features and reworks of existing systems.

E.g. I decluster the start town by splitting it into a small town and a city. Which gives me more space for new buildings and makes the start into the game easier.

Hmm no, that save game problem sounds like a second issue but I’ll try to reproduce it tonight.
