I never actually played Flappy Bird myself so I'm coming at this new. Its really good. The controls a very responsive and the player weight feels fair. The added sound effects are a great way to tell how responsive the controls are to input, so that's a plus. Overall it feels like the only thing I could suggest is some background music because other than that it feels practically done.

I really liked the sound effect choice for this. They 100% could've been complimented well with some nice music. I really liked the visuals as well. I do wish the flap felt a little bit stronger, but it was cool having something different. Good game!

So simple and still had fun ! A very enjoyable version of this classic game ! Good job !

Excellent take of the Bird! Having the flap add speed of impulse definitely made it feel better, and the duck falling to earth at the end was a nice touch!
Feedback I would have liked to have seen randomness in the pipe distance, but that's just me!

The flapping mechanic mimics how ducks would fly in the real world and the physics reflected that. This was very enjoyable. Great Job!

This is definitely a game i would waste hours on rather than study for my classes if I gave myself the chance.

I sacrificed several duck lives trying to save them from industrial oblivion. I liked it, but no one was saved, alas — the mother ducks remained widows. Such chunky feathered lads, you can really feel the weight of their well-fed bodies — it added a pleasant sense of some kind of flight, I guess I'd call it smooth gliding of something hefty. The visuals are consistent, the game feel is there.

I don't have much more to add to what Kara said, the "soft" flapping was odd at first but it turns out to be pretty fun. overall a nice little game, keep up the work!

The flapping mechanic makes your version of the game different and unique from the others. I also found it fun that the difficulty increased as time went on, though it wasn't immediately obvious what was happening. I'm curious if there's a point where it stops shrinking or eventually the game would become impossible.

Developer(+1)

I have it set to shrink until the size is barley larger then the player. Which makes it quite hard but still possible.

Thanks for giving it a play!

I like the flapping in this game, it feels like there's more skill needed then the original, good job!
