cool concept, simple but fun. the English was a bit confusing
Nice game! I liked the minimalist visuals!
It took me a while to figure out I had to stay in the light instead of avoiding it.
Good job overall!
Nice work. I would say next time consult someone on the english, but I really enjoyed the message of the game and thought it was cool. I enjoyed playing through the story. I think you would benefit greatly from working with others, for example having a 2d artist for the art. Overall great job.
Took me a little to figure out that the light was "charging" me, I think you could've used the text at the start to explain the game a bit better, but I can also understand that english is likely not your first language. Good take on the theme!
Yes, I am spanish
ahh i didn't realize it was the light! I was just blitzing through for a while thinking it was a timer in the corner lol. The game got a lot more engaging once I figured that out. You really did a lot with a very minimal palette, good stuff
Pretty well made game! The color palette and contrast between the background and important things on the screen is the strong point visually for me.
I was a bit confused at first how I was dying. Adding some particles going into the player when under the light will help a lot. There were some grammatical mistakes with the English on the screen which would be good to fix if updating the game further for the English audience.
The platforms are well spaced to feel fluid. Good job on that. Keep at it!
Nice work. I had fun playing it. I like how the main game is almost dual chrome. The opening green wall throws this black and white color scheme off though. Your concept is straight fire my dude.
I liked the concept and the invincibility mechanic of the game. I think the movement could use some work to make it feel better.
Good game overall
I didn't immediately notice what caused me to respawn. I think the game is good overall, and I like the way the levels are designed, and the fact that there's a scene where you go back to the beginning of the level is nice.
Love the concept and how well you did with a minimalist art style! If you're up for it, i'd love any feedback on my team's game :D
I liked the minimalist artstyle, and how it created a contrast between the dark enviorment and the light. Good job!
Not bad, you basically created good visuals with no art at all. Sound and the way u told the story was fitting too. For me the jump could have felt less "floaty". Solid entry though! (4,3,3,3,4)
Thank you! I have basic drawing skills (but I waste a lot of time on it and I don't have the time), but this was my first time trying to make music, thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
It took me some time to see that the number on the upper left was light sensitive but once I got it it was a fun game! Is there a maximum to reach ? Right now it feels like you can farm the light to go through all the levels, maybe that was your intent, but I think you can push this mechanic further if you keep working on it. Anyways it is a great game, well done ! (Also it is a great use of the theme, the first game I see that exploits fear over invincibility !)
Thanks! Yes, I really should have included some indicator for the light. The light accumulation thing is a small exploit I was trying to fix to create a limit, but I had to submit the game or I ran out of time. Thanks so much for your review!
Great game very fun.
Loved it
Awesome game. Had a lot of fun playing it. Kind of pulls you in once you get the hang of it
Loved the concept and story. The vibe was really cool. One of my favorite submissions so far.
I loved the idea of the game! I didn't know why I was dying until I realized I had to recharge at the white lights. I like how each light had different functions and the overall narrative! I think some parts were a bit challenging, so it might be good to have some leeway at least in the first few stages. I felt like I had to jump perfectly or else I would restart. It would be nice to have more check points as well.
Love the idea of this! Very cool game.
This game is pretty nice, well done mate, congrats!
