The presentation of the game was great. For me the camera level was quite zoomed in which made it hard for me to navigate around the environments though I did manage to find all the pieces but kept dying. Really cool potion book feature. 

Great job with the atmosphere, I loved exploring the different areas.

NO way grandpa needs an immortality elixir and then doesn't even take it.

I brewed it, after grueling trials (2hp left) then I make it and can't hold it so I exited the room and now it's gone.

Beta submission for other players: Start with fire pits > ice capades > forest of confusion. Always do the hardest parts first so you don't have to redo the easy part.

Overall had fun, the tunnel vision adds a lot to the game, I expected the berries in the ice to refll my health but got noscoped by an explosive berry at least twice ( I don't learn fast)

Neat, definitely hit the retro aesthetic. Agree with the comments about the camera zoom

I liked the design of the ingredient book and the mushroom challenge where the controls get inverted, but the music was really loud. I would like a slider to control the volume haha

I really like the exploration and hunting for the various ingredients. I wasn't able to find all the required ingredients and kept dying but the bare bones are there. The graphics and audio were the highlights... it took me back to an NES/SNES game that I couldn't put my finger on, and the story and spell book were a nice touch!

I really struggled to play the game between the overly zoomed in camera and the invisible walls I struggled to navigate and not just hit obstacles i didn’t know where there a fraction of a second before.

Separately it’s likely my dyslexia but i basically couldn’t read the font you chose

Really enjoyed the take on it - as others have comment it felt like a throwback to the og legend of zelda games. I do think it could have been more zoomed out, but overall was a really neat game! 

This reminds me a lot of games like the original Legend of Zelda and Crystalis for the NES. I like how each area has its own movement puzzle and tests you just long enough to be challenging without dragging on. Visually, I enjoyed the style. The outside areas especially looked really nice. For areas like the ice zone, zooming out a bit would help with avoiding spikes but otherwise great game!
