I don't have another friend to play with... so i play it solo...

The concept and game is really fun, but not much I can say since I can't play the game it intended.

Watering is a bit tricky, there's a few times I keep missing, so an indicator where player will water will be helpful.

Also, will be great if there's like a timer or win/lose condition? I'm not sure if there's any since I play it alone...

Cute co-op game! Played it with my roommate and we had fun.

I wish I could know when a watering can was low / out and could be used as an attack. We also spent a lot of time running into each other repeatedly which felt like it was just "who can quickly grab the crop and turn around" which did work okay!

It was very fun stealing the others' crops!

The art and animation is incredible! and its so silly when the players run into each other XD

Good fun, I didn't have a second player so I just played alone to get a feel for it but it was still chill and enjoyable! The visuals are really pleasant and gentle, it's easy to control, just very solid! I was also very tickled by the fact that once the watering can is empty you just throw it and watch it shatter lol. My main critique is that some of the UI noises are very quiet. Initially I thought there wasn't a noise for when you put produce in the boxes, but I think I can just about hear it? Making that clearer would definitely make the experience more satisfying. Thanks for sharing your game!

Hey, thanks for trying it and for giving some useful feedback. I'm glad you liked the controls because I spent a lot of time trying to give a smooth experience. A bunch of hidden logic went into determining where to throw things and helping with aim and such. Thanks again for the thoughtful review!

Game looks really pretty! Couldn't play it due to the lack of a second player, but would defo try it later.

Developer

You can still see most of the game just soloing it but it's definitely more fun with a second player. Thanks for the kind words. (-:

Had a lot of fun playing this with my wife. I was really surprised that you could bump into each other; that was such a nice touch. It made things way funnier once she started coming over to my side, stealing my hard-earned crops, and throwing them back onto hers lol. Really fun game you made, it has that kind of playful couch co-op chaos that is just fun to mess around with. Also really nice to see a local 2-player game in a jam, since you don't get that very often, so this was a lovely addition.

Aww thanks so much for trying it with your wife. My wife and I did play testing a bunch during the jam, too. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm glad you got to experience some of the mischief and chaos we were aiming for.

Cute game! Reminds me of some old-school local multiplayer games. Unfortunately I didn't have a second player but I can imagine it as something you can play and chill while chatting!

Developer

Thanks for playing! There's good reason why jam games are normally single player but I'm glad you enjoyed it. (-:

Really cute, and I love the local 2-player setup, that's very nostalgic. The game flow itself is great, it's fun to play and visually it's very self explanatory (though I did need a moment to figure out the "blinking" of plants means they need water, but I think that's on me lol). The controls are pretty fine too, though I did mess up the "interact" and "throw" multiple times, but that just needed some getting used to. I like the little detail when the two characters bump into each other!

Developer

Yup! I tried a few different setups with interact and throw but I couldn't tell anymore if it was confusing or if I had just confused myself with all the variations. Thanks for playing!

It's funny)

I really liked the effect of the two farmers colliding, and the way they plant seeds right in a pack in the ground is something XD

True, I didn't have a second player at hand, but the fox looked at me as I ran and instead of planting, I confused the buttons and threw the seeds away)))

Great job!

Developer

Haha thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the little silly elements like planting the whole seed pack.
