The game looks very nice, sounds and music done very well, nice that was added narration to game.

Only one, gameplay because of the same monsters and places where thay appear seems to be a little repetitive, but it’s not a huge issue.

I really love style and distortion effect that going through screen.

The idea of anomaly detection simulators is interesting, but I don't know why it lags so much when I play it. I liked the art style, but the sounds were jarring.

Not quite sure, but I was having a black texture glitch that was obstructing me from viewing the cameras. I restarted and managed to get to day 3.

Great stuff though, you can easily build up muscle memory just flicking through the cameras.

Nice submission! 🎥

Developer

thats a black hole anomaly on cam 2 it can take over the whole screen if you dont watch it and thanks!

The game worked fine on my browser, for your information. I use Brave. I liked keeping an eye on cameras. I think you need to add some movement when I miss one, because I think I slipped one, keep dying on day 3. Also, I think the chromatic aberration is too much for a main effect, maybe use sometimes, or lower it a bit - a bit tyring to the eyes.

Good job on you submission on good luck if you decide to move onward!!

Developer

agreed, great advice for the likely update! yes as a two day build for me it was a little rough it deff needs some work

The art is great and music fits well in the game, especially liked the starting opera music. The rooms in camera are well designed. I think the gameplay can use some wrenches thrown, like some changes, minor consequences and the world around you changing each day. Also game was terribly laggy on browser, I used Firefox for context. Overall a very atmospheric game.

Developer

Thank you yes a clean tab was needed for some of my testers not sure how to make the lag better (maybe I had to many lights) and gameplay wise I wasn't thrilled with it but for a 2 day build and my first 3d game I'm pretty happy with it I'd like to make it more fun gameplay though had a play to include a game in between days but scrapped it for time thanks so much for playing

This was a cool idea, I enjoyed the art style and thought the sound had a lot of good decisions. I liked the vinyl opera intro and thought the voice modulation was a great touch.

Developer

Much appreciated thanks for the words!

Awesome art style. I love the retro textures and the abusive chromatic aberration.

Very cool voice acting and progressive escalation through dialogue - however I found the gameplay just too boring to finish the game. I got to day 9 and at that point I had hoped to have reached the end - imo you really need to switch something up eventually and surprise the player with some new mechanics or even just monsters that appear.

I think it would've also been cool to have a first person camera and have to look around at different screens instead of seeing all of them at once and closing in on only the ones where a monster appeared.

Great tips yeah horror is not my strong suit for sure really appreciate the criticism I was planning on adding a minigame but time got away from me thanks again!

Did not lag for me at all, a really cool atmospheric game. Wish there was some diegetic UI on the screens that would help faster identify the screen number.
Had fun, well done!

Developer

thanks glad it didn't lag for you i believe it might need a fresh tab my friend had some slight issue with lag on a busy browser\

I sadly couldn't play this because it was far too laggy.
After about a minute, it glitched out and froze.

EDIT: Just managed to get it working.
The game had a fun loop, and cool ambiance.
Very nice.
