  • A fun short game as you help diagnose the issues these pregnant women have. Pregnancy content wise we see each of the patients come in on a weekly basis as you try to diagnose there issues. Each week their pregnancy progresses as well as a lot of the issues are tied directly to their pregnancy itself. Gameplay is short and limited but a fun bit of exploration to see what characters like and don't like. Creativity we see each character with it's own set of unique pregnancy, dialogue from the tv explaining the outside world a bit, and exploration into pregnancy symptoms women may have. Finally for the jam theme we see the characters pregnancy progress week by week but so does their personality and problems. Fun game!
  • A really solid concept that was done well, but not quite all the way. Having three different characters, all with different personalities, as patients really helped the variety of the game, with each of them reacting uniquely and having their own journeys throughout the game. The only issue was that, due to the strength of their character, accurately reading some tells was very difficult at times, and the affection reactions felt a little inconsistent here and there as well. It comes with the territory - papers are not as expressive as people, after all. The art, progressions, little design bits and setting were all very nice, and the running gags gave the game a sense of consistency as well. I enjoyed my time.

It's really cool and really funny. Love the art, characther, setting and concept.

But as people has stated before, the mood mechanic is... idk. Maybe im too dumb, but i couldn't find a way to consistently deduce which interactions will make them react bad. The only reliable clues you can get is getting those bad reactions in the previous visit and still it doesn't always tracks.  Like, the best clue was the warning about not using the stethoscope too much and not being "unprofessional". And still, my use of the others wouldn't be described as "professional" more than "HR-call-worthy curious", but overall they tend to like that so in the end i just did full checkups with everything. Doesn't help that you only see the mood rating at the end and doesn't tell you if it went up or down.

So the mood mechanic doesn't feel like it is there to reward my deductive skills (which i think was the point of it) and feels more like punishment for my compulsion of wanting to see all the possible dialogues (which are the best part of the game besides the art).

Getting high mood is really hard, the highest i ever managed to get was 50%, should i try interacting with objects too? I was sticking to using different tools on different body parts of patients

Turns out I'm not too good at this one, but that's not gonna stop me from 100%-ing it. Love the art and characters, super cute entry!

to be clear, 99% is also 100% due to not fully rounding the numbers, but +75% is max size, so you don't need to do more than that for the end screen.

Ooh, good to know thanks!

I like the game's concept, and find it easy to find the symptoms! My only issue is managing the mood. It's hard to get any proper player input on which actions are positive and which are negative. I tried gauging based on their responses, but aside from the negative responses about being "too cold" when I do something, I can't tell whether or not an action is ultimately taken well or not. A day I think I did well to keep them happy, ends up with me having 23% mood.

You get 1 mood change effect per tool per limb, which is important for Blu, and you want to get all the good effects without any of the bad, Rapid bouncing means there are many good effects, slow bouncing means there are many bad effects.

So far so good! Art is amazing and the gameplay is simple but fun. One small critique. The custom cursor is a neat idea but it can get a bit difficult to tell where it is. if you could add a  definitive "Point" and or highlight what your selecting, it would help a ton. 9/10

The 'pointer' is the tip of the blue arrow on the pad. As for highlighting what's selected, that's prolly not a bad idea but is ironically a bit complicated to pull off without you seein a bunch of 'behind the scenes jank' or by making a whole set of custom sprites or something. I'll consider it as it would be a great source of feedback for the player but it'll be a post jam thing if we do.

But it's really great to hear you enjoyed it so!
