The game is cozy and spring (but sadly I couldn't feen the reality shift vibes). The process of finding caterpillars under stones reminds me of Timon and Pumbaa vibes lol. Good job!
The photography aspect works especially well for this kind of game!! Instead of rushing through the environment, it encourages you to slow down and pay attention to the creatures and scenery around you, which fits the relaxing tone perfectly.
I also think the forest itself has a nice vibe visually. Even as a short weekend jam project, it manages to feel immersive enough to make wandering around enjoyable on its own.
Very cozy experience. I really enjoyed finding everything I could. The game also explains itself without needing to read the description, which is a huge plus
The game was super cozy and really captured the essence of spring, with the bug catching. I enjoyed moving around rocks and searching every crevice just to find and take pictures of species in the game. The gameplay was very dynamic, polished, a bit challenging, and rewarding. The atmosphere you created was very relaxing as well. For suggestions, I would say maybe add a slight camera bobbing effect when walking and make it so we have the option to shift to run, for instance. Overall I liked and enjoyed the game; awesome work!
Took me some time to "catch'em all" without clues, but it was a relaxing experience. Good job!
I enjoyed it but, sadly, I wasn't able to play the game until the end.
