How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
You play as a banana in this puzzle game. Each step you take makes you older or younger. The flow of time (your ripeness) is manipulated by using extra items in the levels.
What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
Godot as game engine. Sound effects (by Helton Yan) and music (by Pizza Doggy) acquired from itch.io (see also the credits on project page).
How did you use generative AI? (If you did)
I used no AI.

This really feels like it carries the spirit of old games I used to play on flash game websites back in school (in the best way possible!!) My roommate also really enjoyed this one when he tried it out! Great work!
I REALLY enjoy my time playing your game! The sound is perfect, the challenge is well balanced, I do like puzzle games and you really nailed it, congrats!
This is actually pretty fun!, good visuals and also great level design! 5/5 for me1
Bro, this really hit me deep. I've never felt this way before. The game felt incredibly beautiful. Not the visual kind of beauty, something I can't quite put into words. The tutorial was super clean and easy to follow, and the gameplay was so intuitive that nothing felt difficult. Turning what you learned in round 1 into a trap in round 2 was really impressive. The music kept echoing in my ears the whole time and fit the game perfectly, and the volume stayed consistent. The sound effects were great too, nothing felt off. And the satisfaction when you complete something is just incredible. Sorry, I'm a bit all over the place because I'm so moved.
Very very nice gameplay ! Had a lot of fun going through the levels, hoped there were more of them !
Also liked the sound design, the music and cool visuals, very nice job !
I really liked the art and the little animations, I also think the music and sound effects fit quit well to the overall game, I would maybe change the font to a more pixel-ish font and maybe add some more vfx (like for example when your direction switches), I think a different death message for when you get too green would also be nice/maybe a mix of death messages. I usually don't really like puzzle games, but I actually liked this one quite a lot. Even without having read the tutorial properly I could get a hang of the mechanics quite quickly, I think you can tell what does what quite easily. (Maybe you could make the tutorial a little more interactive though). I also like how the levels all have different names and that the different sound outputs are split up in the settings. (Some of the suggestions I gave here like vfx did not have an influence on my rating, I just really liked the game and wanted to give some suggestions, if you wanted to continue the game)
Great puzzle game! I loved the visuals and mechanics. And the cool low-temperature mechanics.
Cool puzzle! interesting idea, chill music, cool graphic
I like that game!
Great little puzzler! Love the ripeness system and the strategic step management
Gameplay feels very smooth and clean i like it, also graphics and sound design are cool, the step system is ideal. If you have some time rate my game, thank you
Games looks awesome, interesting simple gameplay, cool design. I really like it, quite good result for 3 (or 2.5) days
Great game! It was really cute and well executed! My Wife hated the eating sounds, lmao, but otherwise amazing and really enjoyed playing it. Could definitely see it being expanded! Also, you got me with level 2. I tried every other route until my Wife told me to just go straight to the exit. Which was the answer. XD Good job!
Sound effects are so underrated in game jams ... they add so much juice. Say hi to your wife ;-)
Oh, yes, I always struggle with level design in game jams. Comes always last and under time pressure. Thought the first two levels are too easy and the other two too hard. But I'm so biased after having designed them...
Thanks for playing!
Great Game! I got hooked after the first level, the idea of the game is great and I love the ripening system. "Excellent work my good fellow" :)
