Hello Ticket ID (364442). Thank you in advance to the moderator who would go out of the way to send to the admins. I’m one of the many people that got their comments hit a dead-end of moderation approval, for me, it’s been 6 months since December. I just thought that to tell something, like what to help the severity of the situation (not really definite tips though just what you can do) from what I’ve known so far, I could say it on my own post here. Can’t really link back to where I got it from, you can confirm it for yourself by searching similar topics like this one, you would know or find out anything related if you’ve been keeping up with it for the past months.

  1. The comments under review/moderator’s approval are because of the spam filter to reduce/manage the malicious links, something like that, so filter was strict and caught many false positives along with those links as much.
  2. Moderator meant here can be developers of the game, though it’s not like directly notified because it’s hidden. For developers, you can see the pending comments are in wait through Dashboard->Edit on a project->more↓ section on the most right and there’s edit comments section. On that page there’s a field of ‘pending’, like examples on mine below.
  3. You can keep track of your own pending posts/comments by copying the link according to that page. As far as I know, only the commenter can keep and visit back on those links so at least to help remember whatever comments you’ve written.
  4. Filling out account details. I’m a bit doubtful on this one so not really recommended I guess, but apparently there was one user who filled out as complete as needed whatever field empty and connecting accounts and that user’s account can soon comment. Though too much details filled in (esp related to payment) I fear may compromise account safety for the same reason the spam filter.

Alternative ‘comments’ 5. Commenting through the review section, because it’s always shared with the developers so you can help boost the game traffic as well by reviewing anyway and the message gets delivered to the developer that way. 6. Commenting on the developer’s available contact/social media account, within reasonable manner not to spam or anything of course, and commenting on a post about the game if it exists.

That’s all I think, sorry if I mistook or said anything wrong.

Can you please allow me to comment without the need of moderator approval? I Won’t spam comments and I won’t Swear. I’m Asking Because the moderator’s won’t even approve my posts

I have no power over game comments, and since you e-mailed support already you should let them handle it now.

I am not sure what you are talking about. But if you want to suggest to Itch, that they need to make pending posts more visible, please do so with the feedback button. I did so. Itch does not monitor the questions & support message board. Your suggestions will not reach them from here.

You do not see your pending posts, that posted on someone's project.

You can keep track of your own pending posts/comments by copying the link according to that page. As far as I know, only the commenter can keep and visit back on those links so at least to help remember whatever comments you’ve written.

I considered posting on feedback section, but I figured my post was meant for the community in the beginning since uh people who have been having this kind of problem like me only visited this section, so I really posted a sort of small FYI for some of those people. Also by seeing our pending post was, I meant that was privately visible to us, not posted, with the corresponding link like I’ve gathered some of my comments with those links I managed to keep. Like this;

if you get me?

Unfortunately, no, I do not get you. Your English is hard to follow.

As far as I know you cannot see an overview of pending posts you yourself have made.

The developer of a project can see those in that pending section.

That is why I am confused what you are trying to say. It is mixing two things together. What developers see, and what commentors experience. Your advice seems to be for commentors that are blocked by the spam filter. But you show a screenshot from a developer's point of view.
