Really fun little game! Love the ideas on display here! Really cool that you made three different playable characters as well.
Like many other comments already mentioned, the biggest issue here is UI feedback and the missing SFX, its often hard to tell whats currently going on.
Really good job though, Keep it up!
I enjoyed, but it was a bit hard to tell what I was doing at times, and if my inputs were the thing making stuff happen , or if I was just like sitting for too long potentially. Will revisit when I have more time to play deeper, had a short time this time
Pretty sick old school retro game! I would have loved a bit more feedback on the attacks, movement, etc whether its coming from sounds or visuals. A bit hard in difficulty. Otherwise, great job!
With some balancing this could be a fun game. I was lucky once and got to level 2 and then died. UI wise: I almost missed the upgrade buttons. You should make them stand out more. It would also help the player if you showed the enemy stats on screen and added hit sounds to provide some player feedback. Good job for being 1/1061 for making a game.
Seems a bit buggy. I'd also suggest finding a font that's easier to read - lot of free sites with free fonts available. Idea seemed to be node-based combat where you play rock paper scissors and upgrade your stats.. I think. But the UI seemed too buggy to tell.
I agree here ^
I actually didn't realize it was something of rock paper scissors until I just started clicking randomly. It's pretty hard to tell what's going on though, maybe if it were slightly higher resolution in terms of the pixel art, would've helped.
