I thought this was an obscure insult but it's actually amazing. Initially I was going to complain that it was too easy but then I realised I was actually still in the tutorial and hadn't noticed there was an exit button. Much harder after that!

I really appreciate the "healing and weapons are the same thing" mechanism - makes for some interesting gameplay!

The warnings for slime violence and exploding rats were hilarious, as was the gameplay once I learned to aim. The boss (and the use of the squeeky sound effect from the pack) was definitely my favorite part. The flashing text could use a longer interval for the flashing in my opinion, though; trying to read it was somewhat on the side of headache-inducing for me (that said, my sensitivity to flashing lights and the like is likely above-average since it's a migraine trigger for me).

Incredibly silly. Had fun. Great use of assets. Totally stealing your boss idea for after the jam, btw.

Haha, yes. Please steal.  More than welcome.

This was a fun little game! I loved the concept, I personally am really really bad at these sorts of games so I got a solid middle of the leaderboard but hey that's better than being at the bottom! It feels like a random game I'd play at the arcade, and I do mean that in the best of ways. Also the fact you're playing as a skeleton is fun, I didn't read that part so I was pleasantly surprised when the armor went off and I saw myself in all my glory!

Ha, I tried to make it a little easier because originally it was way more punishing. Truthfully there were so many more little things I wanted to add but the ending of these jams really does always sneak up on you:) Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed the skeleton!

Just as advertised—quick and simple fun! It took me a moment to understand how to get past the tutorial, but from there I really enjoyed myself!

Some of my favourite bits:

- The use of sound effects was especially great!

- Unique and intriguing premise!

- Warning for slime violence and rat explosions (very important!!)

- The boss!!! That was such a perfect moment and brilliantly executed!

The leaderboard is a nice touch, too! I'll probably be coming back to try to top my score...

Ha, thanks so much! Yeah, I really threw the tutorial together VERY last minute and didn't go back to adjust it. Hopefully when I have a little free time I can add a little bit more to the game because I almost had an "endless wave" kind of thing worked out but still wasn't able to finish it for the jam :(  Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

That would be really cool, it's already such an addictive little game! Playing a few more rounds, I'm also noticing lots of great details I hadn't paid much attention to before (like the wobble when characters move or the squishing effect when slimes are picked up)!
