This is really fun, and I thought it was clever how just the notion of 'bust if you go over 21' could be made into what feels like a whole different game from Blackjack (even if it's a rule that has a certain intuitive feel for those who have played Blackjack). I can imagine some more tutorialization and quality of life features going a long way but I feel like those will be straightforward relative to what you've already accomplished. Nice work!
Hey FrameDelta, I'm really glad you enjoyed it - I def plan on adding some light tutorialization. If you have any ideas for quality of life features, I'd love to hear em! I know some people have requested *some* form of deck visibility, I'm just not sure how visible I should make the deck (at least during rounds). Thanks for playing!
This is a very creative interpretation of the theme, I never played blackjack before but the visuals of the game alone made me stay but nice game.

Really liked it! Clean, simple, fun! But I do wonder, is there a way to see your deck? It was a bit confusing to me to suddenly get 13s or 12s (I believe in Blackjack the highest is the Ace 1/11, and otherwise it's 10JQK worth 10?).
There is no way to view your deck currently but I've heard from a few people they'd like some way to have more deck visibility so I'll be adding that in. You know, I honestly should've looked up the card values of blackjack beforehand haha. I originally wanted to make some sort of spin on a different card game called flip 7, but as I developed it more and more, it just started turning into blackjack lol. Thanks for playing! I'm glad you were able to stick with it and start having fun. In the past, I didn't pay that much attention to "juice" so I wanted to change that this time around. I'll definitely be improving the new player experience soon!
This was awesome. Took just a moment to get the hang of things and then I was having a great time with the risk and reward! I found a small bug where if you click hit during scoring you can kinda sneak another card in there. No big deal. The art is awesome and the game feels cohesive and like a lot of care was put into it. Well done!

This game is simple and fun. It’s cool that you can draw both normal cards and power cards, so you don’t have to deal with extra gameplay mechanics. Great job!

Super fun game once you understand what to do. I just wanted to keep playing. Very addictive. The only problem for me was that the music got too repetitive after a couple minutes, but it wasn't a problem because there is a slider to turn the music down.
I think I am going to jump back in for another round, it is lots of fun.

A bit hard to understand through gameplay alone, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite fun :)
Hey thanks for playing! I'm glad you had fun once you got the hang of it. I've definitely gotten this feedback from a few people and plan to make it easier to understand! If you remember any specific moments where things felt confusing, I'd love to hear them.
I think the fact that the point counter is at the top left corner, with a little guy right above, makes it feel like there could be a whole row of them, having to manager multiple counters at once or something like that. Making it more front and center would make it more obvious it is core to the gameplay loop.
Other than that, a 3 line tutorial, even just on the title screen, would help a lot confirming what we assume the game works like as a player.
That makes a lot of sense, I had some friends tell me something pretty similar about the top left corner being confusing/overwhelming at first. I'll definitely be adjusting the UI. A short tutorial on the title screen is also a great idea. Thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

I didn't understand that I didn't want the guys HP to go below zero. So I understood that there was risk to drawing, but I didn't know that I could actually calculate the risk.
