Why is this game not played and rated by more people. It's incredible.
The cinematographic lighting in this game is absolutely stunning — using GDevelop's lighting features to create that dark cave atmosphere with the lantern as your only light source is genuinely top quality work. The mechanic of throwing your lantern to use it as a double jump is such a clever and creative design choice that adds real depth to the platforming. The art, animations and sound design all come together to create a cozy yet tense atmosphere that reminds people of Hollow Knight and Silksong. The fact that you heard player feedback and quickly added touchscreen and gamepad support shows real dedication. Submitted with 5 minutes to spare and it's one of the most polished games in the jam — incredible work! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊

I did it! The idea of using the lantern to achieve a double jump was really great. I found a few bugs, but they’ve already been fixed on gd.games.

Beautiful art and mood setting for a dark place and great use of light features in the dark, also easy to pick up and play, very nice work!
Nice job with the art style and animations! The mood is on point. Great work on the gameplay mechanics. I was going to suggest adding gamepad support, and a feature that recalls the lamp, but it seems you added them in a post update. Congrats!
It's really cozy and creative. The audio went really well with the animation style. I loved it! The game reminded me of silksong in some ways.

i accidentally reset my character when the fire fy was outside of the lantern and got separated T_T
I'm sorry you ran into that bug! I highly recommend trying the game on gd.games instead, where all the major bugs have been fixed. I hope it runs smoothly and you'll enjoy it!
i really liked this game. And what i appreciated is the graphics and the environment. the idea of the fly that separates from the main character is great!
The art is fabulous - i lost my lantern! You're a bit stuffed when you've lost your lantern. If I get a chance .....i'll come back and try to find it!

You can reset your character to get your lamp back - just press Q, Y/Triangle, or the button in the top-left corner of your screen, depending on your device. I should have made it clearer, my bad, thanks for letting me know tho!

Amazing game amazing art the sound and everything is good but it's a bit hard but I enjoyed and so far I have faced no bugs overall good game.
