I like it! Idea is intriguing, although being unable to step on a quite normal forest looks a bit off, maybe make more hostile environment, or the indicate that main character is some sort of creature that can't be on ordinary soil? Anyway, nice game, good job!

I like the idea, solid game

Very interesting concept. I like how the walker is designed. It took me a while to figure out that I was actually collecting wood and stone. At the beginning of the game you have wood in the “inventory” at the bottom of the screen. As I was chopping wood, I didn’t see logs appear in that same place. I eventually figured out that you have to press tab to view the other inventory. So that was a bit confusing for me.

Also, the game took a long time to load for me and the loader was stuck at the same spot for a long time, I almost gave up. There might be some optimizing you could do to improve this.

Good job on releasing this game.

Really cool game, lots of fun stuff to keep you busy and upgrade, really satisfying

The walker was very cool.  Great work!

OMG, that was really good! You had nice music, great sound effects, and engaging gameplay. I feel a little cheated that I only got third on the leaderboard because it took me less time to get the diamond... But still the fact that you had a leaderboard, a game loop, and a satisfying ending. Really, really well done!

I liked the music so much I donated a couple bucks to the composer.

I'm really interested in how you made the walker. It was pretty fantastic.

Thanks for your feedbakc!

I know the leaderboard is a bit weird but I had no time left to make it more "correct", in theory, for getting the highest score you want to mine the diamond later on, I will change it in the future

Glad you like it,

[EDIT] Thanks for donating to the composer, I don't know him personally but I really love his soundtracks. The walker is made with inverse kinematics, it's a "formula" that calculates how a bone/arm/leg should move to reach a target point.

Thanks!

Amazing work. Really addicting game as other people pointed out. Only issue with it was that I didnt figure out why I wasnt allowed to stay out of the walker, but I guess thats something you didnt just have time to add in yet. Overall really good game!

Loved it. Genius idea of the walker system. Very balanced upgrades. Cool loops that rewarding the player. You did Amazing job considering this is made in only 10 days. Almost felt like a completed rpg/survival/exploration/ raft style game :)

Glad you liked it, thanks for your comment :)

Developer

Thanks for playing my game!

I had lots of spare time and a good idea of what I wanted as a concept. as usual the scope was too big and had to leave some planned stuff out.

Very cool and unique concept! The resource and crafting progression works really well and the upgrades were a nice touch.  Played it all the way through and enjoyed every bit. Will keep tabs to see where you take it in the future!

Developer

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it! :)

I said to myself "okay let's quickly try this out and check out other games" then almost an hour later I find myself still throwing axes, chopping trees and breaking rocks. I really didn't expect to get addicted to this type of game, the combination of base building, item management and base defense is just so engaging to me. I managed to get pretty far, maxed out my tool upgrades and almost gathered enough resources to build the 5th (or was it 4th? I forgot) but sadly I ran into a browser error and had to stop playing. If there hadn't been an error, you bet I'll still be chopping trees and taking care of my sweet sweet walking platforms. What an absolute gem, probably one of my fav game in this jam so far hands down.

Thanks for your feedback!

It means a lot to me :)

This was fun! I think the concept in itself is really cool, and I can see this becoming a massive walking-base style game where you have to manage your resources as your entire hub moves. It takes a little bit to get interesting, but I felt that overall it got me very curious. Hope you expand it post jam! Thanks for trying my game!

Really cool! I Like the upgrading system and the physics on the walker. Having the resources collected by throwing the axe/pickaxe is very smart and makes resource gathering convenient, though the resources stopped going into my hotbar and so I had to use TAB to see them. You have to manage both your own HP and the HP of the walker while gathering resources and getting rid of Goblins. The goblins are glitchy and really a lot of things are glitchy but that's OK because this game is pretty awesome conceptually. One thing I would have liked to have seen is an FOV slider because the default is way too low for me and was uncomfortable to use. Super neat idea and well done!

Yo this was a 3D FPS version of Monsters are Coming! Which is fantastic! Well done. I played your game in the early phases and this is such a huge improvement. You put in some good work.! Great job on making such a cool little world as well.

Developer

Hello, thanks for playing my game!

I didn't know monsters are coming, but it kinda is similar when I looked it up.

Thanks for leaving a comment!

The idea is so unique very fun. It's like a skyblock but moving within the environment like Raft. I really like how you chained together the walkeers I think that was very unique. Very good job

Developer

Thanks for the feedback,

this means a lot to me, glad you liked it, I was very unsure about this concept while developing it, but it kinda came together :)

Thanks for playing!
