I love the art style, however the gameplay felt like doing the same thing over and over again for like 15 minutes, and I beat the boss in 2 seconds

Nice game!
Really enjoyed the art style and audio, the storyline was interesting too. only critique is the lack of a tutorial, i had a difficult time understanding what to do!
Aside this, very solid entry, well done! š
P.s. A little tip, I noticed your karma is a bit low, if you want to get more ratings, Iād suggest checking out and playing other peopleās games too. It really helps! Iād also love to hear your feedback on my game (if you haven't already!)š

Hey thank you for playing our game. I do think goal at the start is a little challangeing to know but I will definitely add a good progression as well as tutorial after post jam
-i am a little busy so I might not be able to play and review game , i already played and review your game though 5 days ago I also commented on it. If I get free tomorrow I might see some games
You went above and beyond, this is beatiful! The juice and game feel on top of amazing art is the reason that kept me playing. Simplistic and easy to understand too, which allowed me to focus on the visuals.
That said, if I were to give constructive criticism, I would say the game may be too simplistic and unchallenging, and doesn't achieve the flow. Sometimes that's the vibe itself in games, but there could be challenges like a harder boss, or "mini bosses" among small enemies just to bump the challenge. Maybe one other thing is that the theme doesn't perfectly match the gameplay, far from feeling like the boss visually and mechanics-wise, which is something similar to what I have too.
Also I realized there was no mention of this, but I killed the boss, and pressed the button and I was stuck with the UI. Maybe I missed something there, but anyways. This is one of the best games that nailed the polish and the scope. Best of luck.
Thank you for your feedback. I also think the same the game is quit simple and unchallangeing after sometime it gets repetitive but it was a first game jam of some of my team members so we didn't have a big scope on this game we design it quit simple and repetitive inorder to make something that works before the jam ends ahahahh.
Best one I played so far. Beatiful art, nice polishing, nice sfx. More variety of enemies and upgrades would add up greatly to the game, but with the time limit of 10 days this is very good. Also, I killed the boss in like 2 seconds lol, not sure if this supposed to happen. I don't have anything to say other than that, very solid entry, great job!
Thank you for playing our game. We did have a plan to add multiple enemy but due to jam time constraints we were not able to add it.that been said yes the boss was supposed to be easy to kill since you are the overpowered at the end. The game is kinda inspired by "the time i got reincarnated as a slime" so yea !!
Thereās no way to start this feedback without first praising the art, because itās simply wonderful! Seriously, amazing work on that. I really loved the overall aesthetic and the harmony you managed to create here. Nothing in the game feels out of place or like it belongs to āanother worldā — quite the opposite, everything feels integrated. Even the biomes, which are clearly very different from each other, still manage to feel visually cohesive.
The sense of progression at the beginning is very interesting and effective, enough to keep the player engaged right from the start. However, unfortunately, the game becomes a bit repetitive after some time due to the limited variety of enemies. That said, I donāt necessarily see this as a bad thing, considering how short the jam timeframe is, and honestly, I think you managed to accomplish a lot within such a limited amount of time.
During the gameplay, I didnāt encounter any bugs that prevented me from progressing, but two strange things happened with the UI. First, in the menu, whenever I clicked an option, I would instantly be taken to the new screen and only afterward the transition effect would play, which created a slightly odd feeling because of the delay. The second visual bug was related to the back button in the upgrade window, which somehow ended up in the top-left corner of my monitor haha. Iām not sure what happened there, but it almost made me close and reopen the game.
Overall, itās a really great game, and I believe the two issues I experienced were probably related to my monitor or maybe even the web version itself, since browser versions often end up having some bizarre bugs from another dimension haha. Great game overall — it was very fun and interesting. Congratulations on the project, and I wish you the best of luck in the jam!
thank you for your feedback, the back button was bad on our part since i did not have time to implement it correctly in the game , the transitions effect was a bug probably ahahahhhh . i am overjoyed to hear you like the over all aesthetics of the game WE CREATED THE MAP AT THE LAST SECOND BEFORE SUBMITTING THE JAM BUT I THINK IT TURNOUT OK ahhhh. we did spent all our time in making the game addictive and tried to make it interesting that been said thank you for playing our game
The game is really fun, the mechanics are good and the art is great. Maybe more mob or map diversity would be great, and maybe a bit more impactful boss battle, but you'll have time for that after the jam. Great submission!
Fun game! Felt like a more interactive version of Vampire Survivors. It felt good to turn on the heavy attack and dash into big groups!
I was able to get a lot of aura balls and they seemed pretty powerful.
Art was cute and the music engaging. One UX feedback was until I saw the ābite is more powerfulā upgrade, I though the bites were from the enemy so ran away from them.
Cool idea to slowly ābecome the bossā over time.
Loved the idea of evolving over time! wished there were more enemy variety, but understand the constraints.
Good job!
Not sure if it's just on my end, but I got an error when trying to run it.
Fun! I really liked the art for some of the little slimes + the animations. I really liked the aesthetic of your game, but I'd maybe suggest speeding up the animations to make them feel a bit more fluid and adding to the illusion. I also really appreciated the music/sound effects, and overall cool game idea, and I liked the attention and care you gave to the start of your game as well. Good job!!
The music and art are super cool ! I didn't understand if there was a gameplay impact to was the art was like : i'm talking about the player-slime appearance that changes between different elements : it was really awesome, but idk if it was needed if the attacks were the same. I think this could be an awesome game to continue further : maybe those appearences could be bought after a run (i feel like we'll be more engaged to the visual if it's something earned instead of something that is here but has no gameplay function?). The gameplay is really addictive, I didn't meet the boss for so long before I actually decided to go kill them (I wanted to max out my poweeer the more I could). As for my playtest, my strategy was giving it all on the aura (aura farming), it was really satisfying. I feel like there was something else at the end? I bought something but then nothing happened and I had to go back to the main menu. I'm sooo excited to play to your game again after you take the playtests and feedbacks of more people, PLEASE LET ME PLAY WITHOUT EVER ENDING. Eeeh my bad, it was really cool ! I loved it! Though I don't think it suited the theme thaaat much (of "you're the boss") but that's fiiine, you made such an awesome game, beautiful art, engaging gameplay, captivating music and such a cool narrative and display of that at the beginning of the game! (I'm usually not very patient and wanted really bad to skip, but the sentences, with some added words sometimes, were really great and cool, how could I skip that?) Anywayy, great job !
to tell you the truth there was did a gameplay impact on changing the slime appearance but due to the time constraint i was not able to add different attacks i spend all my time polishing the basic gameplay loop and yea the game was kinda inspired by an anime called "the time i got reincarnated as a slime " so we were on it u start as a blob and fight different enemies to gain different ability and kill the boss to become finale boss so i think it kinda fits the boss theme at the start ;)
Hey you 4, congrats on this submission for real.
I think the game has a really nice foundation, especially the audio design and music
I also liked the core idea, but I felt the pacing could be improved a bit, at the beginning it was fun and interesting, though after some time it started to feel slower and less engaging :(
I also wasn't sure if the boss was supposed to die that quickly, so maybe the balance could be adjusted a lil here.
Another thing that confused me was the elements change system, I think that having a more direct progression instead of random could make the gameplay feel clearer and make more sense with jam theme.
Overall, I see a lot of potential on this game, more upgrand, enemies and progression system can make this project grow into a really fun and bigger game, great job!

Absolutely loved the art style, and the gameplay was lowkey addictive. A few things to note:
- I beat the boss within about 10 seconds of it spawning. Maybe you could increase its health a bit.
- Are you supposed to be able to have multiple aura upgrades? If so never mind but currently you can get the aura upgrade multiple times in a run and every time you get it you get another aura. I had three at the end of my first playthrough.
- Changing element type seemed kinda random? Not the worst thing but it would be cool if it was based on something the player could see and maybe choose which type to be.
- More biome on the map based on the elements would be really cool, like a volcano and a lake or ocean. I understand not expanding due to time but if you make a post jam version it would be a really nice addition.
Otherwise the game is great and I really enjoyed it :)
thank you for the feedback, and yea the boss was kinda supposed to die in few hits cause u are the overpowered one. and yea it was intentional to have multiple aura upgrades, we did try to make the gameplay a bit engaging at the start, and you are right the changing the slime at random was a bad on our part since we did not have that much time to implement different attacks for the slime and a system for selecting the slime i am overjoyed to hear you enjoyed our game :)
