If the connection is supposed to go from left of field to the the right hand side it seems to me about the only way this can work is having two straight pieces (light blue) and one that happens to close the link...

I also had the issue the controls not being shown correctly. the font glyphs should be packaged into the game.

On the plus side is the raster is shown in the background so no (mis-)guessing which column you're in with a piece still quite up the screen.

I tried to connecting the opposite borders just as proof of concept, it works, but then the rest of the pieces becomes very harder to loop or to connect from side to side.

The idea is interesting but I don’t think it is well thought out. For example, right now I don’t see why you would place the 1x4 piece vertically unless you absolutely have to. I am guessing that most of the pieces had to be oriented to a certain way which limits the decision for the player. There may be potential here, but the pipes mechanics should definitely be reworked.

I made one connection: T -> Straight -> T for a closed loop. I genuinely don't know how the pieces can be fit together to achieve a line from one border to the other, or how to make any other form of closed loop.

If I knew how to do anything else I might keep playing, as it is I think I'm at the limit of my abilities!

This game is brutally hard. I literally could not complete a single pipe haha. But thats a me issue, you did so well, good job!

For anyone having trouble moving the pieces , use the arrow keys.
I completed one pipe and that was by luck, I'll admit it :)
It is rare for me to say this, but I strongly dislike the music, it's the reason I stopped playing.
Appreciate the work you put into it though, particularly the pipe logic.

I couldn't get any points in this game. Tetris is already challenging enough so trying to connect pipes with the pieces was pretty much impossible for me. It felt really nice and pleasing to play though!

Really awesome version of Tetris! Very nicely put together and very slick.

It was a bit hard though, it took me a couple of goes just to get something removed, but that could say more about me than the game!

Awesome work!

Bro, I don’t know how you coded this. I didn’t encounter any bugs or anything, but Tetris is already a hard game and this one is even harder. While playing, I kept thinking “how would I even make this?” My answer: “I couldn’t.” I guess it’s beyond my skill level. Thanks for sharing.

Fun idea, but a bit difficult? Cool anyways.

Submitted

I really like the idea, it just seems very difficult, especially if regular tetris matches don't work. I think some of the pieces could maybe have simpler pipework, but it's creative! Well done!

I really like the idea!

But it was a bit difficult to play because the Button Emojis aren't shown in the browser version :(

It was also a bit difficult because the pipe connections were not always at the same parts of the Tetrominos and a lot of pieces were just dead ends, which increased the difficulty even more :(

Maybe it could start with easier blocks and get increasingly difficult?
