Nice looking game. I don;t knwo if I was playing it correctly though - just holding down space and bumping into the meteors.

Developer

I need to remove that feature, lol 😆.

It is a fun game, I seem to blow up even though I didn't hit any meteors, but still a great game overall.

Submitted(+1)

It's fun game with cool concept. I like it.

Funny little game. Good job!

The world is saved, those meteors had no chance :) Well done with the game!

Cool idea. It was a really enjoyable game to play. My only criticism is that I couldn’t run the game in fullscreen mode. I would have liked to play it at a higher resolution. Maybe this issue only applies to me—I’m not sure. Thanks for sharing!

unique I like it alot this is a fun game. gg thank you!
edit: I replayed a few times, I think your explosion sound is replaying every frame somewhere during the connection/explosion phase. You can fix it its an audio bug which is allowed to be patched if you got time to do so. its a good game :)

Developer

I've been trying to fix it, but the way I structured I code is horrible 😅. It seems like the only other option might be for the explosion sound not to come at all. IDK, I'll find a way...

Nice job.  Only issue I ran into was remaining sound effects from game that just ended when starting a new game.

Developer

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I had a problem with it too but didn't have time. Should be an easy fix, lemme try.

Really cool concept and a clever take on the theme! Once I understood the tether mechanic I got pretty hooked. The audio overlap got a bit chaotic at times, but overall really fun.

Nice job on this! I had fun zooming around. There seems to be a glitch with one of the sound effects causing it to stutter a bit from time to time, but I like the sounds and music a lot. The concept is interesting, but I was a bit confused initially. Once I figured out how the color tethering worked and what kinds of things resulted in a game over from experience, I was kind of hooked. There's lots of potential here if you dive into it more. Keep up the good work!

Pretty fun little snake-asteroid game! I like the tether connection concept for bonus points, well done!

Developer

Literally a mixture of Snake and Space Shooter since they were the only two games I've ever made before 😂. It was fun combining the two, and I learnt a lot.

neat concept. some mechanics were confusing. Wasn't sure about linking together different colored meteors.

Explosion sound overlapping a lot was very funny, but a little hard on the ears. Great job finishing your first game jam!

Fun music

Developer(+1)

Finally someone complemented the music 😁. I don't usually make music, and I was suprised at myself for making this one. Actually liked it a lot and was hoping someone else liked it too 😄.

Had a lot of fun... on my second try... Tutorial? Yes please ^^ Very creative take on the theme! The only thing that bothered me a bit was the audio. I think it’s the sound effect when a line disappears? It probably multiplies with multiple lines. It might be worth checking if you can limit it to only play one instance of the sound at a time. But I see it was already mentioned. Also, when I had several connections running, the game froze for a split second about every 5 seconds. But those are just minor things for future polishing! Great job!

Developer

Thanks, you feedback is very helpful. Lemme improve on that.

Nice take on the theme, I like your concept! I'd also suggest tuning the explosion SFX, as that caught me off guard at first. Well done! :)

Conections are in. Nice game.

Submitted(+1)

Really suits the theme perfectly, it's funny but I had kind of the same kind of idea as you at the beginning. The game is cool but the points going up sfx could be a bit less strong ^^"

Developer(+1)

The sound wasn't meant to be the points going up, lol XD. It's the sound of the meteors and cord exploding. The cord was supposed to make like a trail bomb that explodes the other meteors or something. I'll try and fix it, lol.

Other than that the game is really enjoyable, well done!

tried web version! Awesome suits the game jam theme

Submitted(+1)

Very solid game you have here, I tried the web build and it was working fine for me, only thing that bothered a little was the audio when the points went up, it sounded a little bit rough. But I really liked what you did here with "connections"!

the web export is so important because not everybody trust in random files and people doesn't need to wait to download the game!

i wish you will see this in the 24 hour bug fix because the web export doesn'T work

try to do this in godot:

create a new empty file(good to name it like your game)

go to godot projext --> export --> try to export the game to the empty file with the name of index.html (really important to be index

i will link a video it's maybe will help you
