We got to level 6, but couldn't figure that out. Sometimes collisions were triggered without a clone being close and there was a collision in the middle we couldn't get away from. The concept is cool, but sometimes it is a bit hard to understand how you achieve your goals. Cool game though and lots of levels for such a short timeframe. Good job!

It was strong on the concept with echoes being created like some quantum behaviors, which fits the visuals well, but the puzzles were just hard because nothing can be seen normally or the boxes get out of sync with hitboxes or just glich to have 1 echo for 3 buttons.

Great idea, would play a little more polished version!

I see why you have an epilepsy warning. Slick controls and great concept.

As much as I love shaders, this one was totally unneeded. Your design is fine, you don't need the headache inducing  part. It would make a lot of sense if there was a tired or stunned or health almost a zero mechanic, but for a whole game it's too much. The rest, the story, the level design, the story, music and sfx were all great.

Very unique game idea and visual. great job. I was not able to deal with the laser thingy. But it was still a fun experience.

Great job on this project!

The visual presentation immediately caught my attention. The effects, atmosphere, and overall polish give the game a very distinct identity. I also thought the echo mechanic was a really creative interpretation of the jam theme.

The puzzle design feels clever and the whole concept stands out from many of the other entries I played. You can tell a lot of care went into both the mechanics and the presentation.

The overall experience feels polished, unique, and memorable.

Congratulations on the submission!

An amazing job on the visuals and a very unique puzzle concept. The sound was also well placed. The gameplay was actually satisfying, but I got stuck on level 4 and couldnt figure out what to do, maybe a tutorial section explaining the full extent of possibilities of the clone would have been nice. An overall great job on the jam entry.

Great work! Very smart interpretation of the theme. Honestly, I've seen many games use cloning mechanics over the years, but there's something unique about this game. Maybe it's because it isn't a typical platformer. I also really liked the level design. It felt clean, clever, and thoughtfully put together.

The gameplay was fun, though I didn't beat the game. I found understanding and timing the clones, and figuring out what each clone actually does, a bit confusing at times. Maybe the game could use a bit more guidance, or maybe it's just a skill issue on my side. The shader effect, while visually cool, was honestly a bit disturbing for me and made it harder to keep playing for long periods. The dialogue sound effects could also become a bit annoying after a while, though I appreciated you using dialogue for tips and to elaborate on the ideas behind each level.

One more thing, using Esc as the menu button might not be the best idea for a web build since it exits fullscreen mode.

That said, I still really enjoyed the overall experience. The concept feels fresh, the mechanics are interesting, and the game definitely stands out from other cloning-based games I've played. Great work, and keep it up!

Cool look for this.  I really like it.   Was a little confused by when the duplicates happen and how to control them, but otherwise very interesting game.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. yep It's a little confusing, but in the end it's fun and chalanging.

Loved it! Planing a way to use my echoes to escape the room while trying to survive? Who would've thought of that?!  Bro, you da goat fr. Nice thing about this is that there was no bugs or glitches of any kind (in my experience at least). Aesthetics and visuals are really nice, (appreciate the warning you gave at the begining too!) A working "settings" option is not something I'd put in a game this small, but hey, you did, and it worked! 5 out of 5 star from me. Amazing job, I can't imagine doing this in 10 days ,😂. Easy mode is a lie, btw.

Thank you very much for your kind words. Yep, the disclaimer is there, because I started to feel sick and nausee everytime I was testing the game :)))). I inserted the settings for sound effects and you can activate a mobile joystick.

Easy mode, is easy after you get the way around.  :D

Fun but difficult, even in “easy mode”!

Isn’t there a checkbox to disable the distortion effect?

Developer (1 edit)

Sorry, nope, maybe in future. Thank you for your rate.

Really unique looking game, really enjoyed the vibe :) Had a tough time figuring out what i had to do but still was fun.

Developer

Thank you.

Nice game. It took me a while to figure it out, but I got to level 5. I really like the echoes idea, though the puzzles were on the more difficult side. Great job!

I like the echo concept! I feel like I wasn't cluing in on someting imortant tho. I did figure out level 1, proud of myself, level 2 my echoes just seemed like they were in the way. Id like to understand how to play better

Developer

Echoes are your past self, and they do exactly your moves. If you stay on a switch, the echo will come and stay on that switch. And if you are at the door, the door would open. Thank you for playing my game.

The puzzle could be interesting, but honestly the graphics hurt my eyes a bit... The idea of having your own “echo” is really nice though!

Developer

Yeah, I know about the graphics. Thank you for feedback.

very cool concept and works quite well with the theme connection. well done. it is very interesting and I like how much work is already put into this. well done for this Jam. I've bookmarked to come back and check it out see if I can get further. its got that itch (no pun intended) that I want to get further or overcome the puzzle you have designed. (got to level 3)

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot. You need to be careful—that’s why I put the disclaimer at the beginning. While I was working on it and testing it, I actually felt sick twice.

no clue what to do nice shader and the animation quality seems fluent, just couldn’t figure out what to do.

Developer

Thanks for feedback, maybe I will insert a small tutorial.
