I'm gonna be honest, I had a terrible experience playing this. Controls were awful, one-touch dying seems too unforgiving and some jumps were not accurate. Instructions were unclear and there are several visual glitches (why the need to spawn for 0.5 sec a 20 words message on kill?). What I did enjoy is the sky changing, the jump pitching sound and the models and aim visual. The theme was there in a very typical way.
i love the game style, keep going & vote for my game
VERY NICE GAME!!!❣️ YOU CAN ALSO TRY MY GAME AS WELL , HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY IT❣️
This game was a trip. My ONLY complain was the controls. Using W and E to shoot and interact really need to coupled with arrow keys for alternative movement. Using WASD was a bit awkward. Other than that. No complains.
The art style is genuinely amazing — weird in the best possible way, and the hypnotizing dreamlike music fits it perfectly. The fact that you pulled this together in just 3 days is really impressive! The death menu design is particularly slick and shows real creative instinct. The core gameplay loop of collecting boxes to activate the elevator while fighting off the munchies is simple but effective, and the rainbow glass at the end is a lovely reward. Adding coyote time to the movement and making the controls clearer upfront would really polish the experience — but the personality and creativity here are already something special. Keep going! Feel free to check out my sky platformer too 😊
thanks for the kind words, i really am proud of what ive done but i know for sure the next games i make will be much better.
i'll check out your platformer in a moment:)
the only thing what I don't like about the game are the controls other wise the game is good
sorry about that, when i was making it, it was just kinda to suit myself without thinking about how someone else might dislike it..
It's ok, but next time maybe try next time making a settings button (just advise😊😊😊😊😊)
i'll try :3
Anyway, this game has a lot of potential. I think it’s really fun!
thank you so much, i actually tried to make it so that if a munchy is too close to the elevator it stops moving but i didnt account for when there is lots of them squished up into a little bubble, maybe i should have given them the pathfinding obsticle behavior idk. and for the needed boxes i didnt even realize i had to do that until like a day after i submitted when it just crossed my head. but maybe in the future i'll try to do something different with a similar style so i can encorporate all of the feedback ive gotten for this.
:3
The artstyle was amazing, and the audio followed suit; very esoteric and dream like. The movement was decent, but was in dire need of coyote time, and the shooting felt very clunky and needed more impact. I enjoyed the main gameplay loop; simple yet effective, although a loss should've resulted in a greater punishment.
Overall, really amazing job! Keep it up!
thank you so much, i would have probably done more polishing to the game if i had started earlier(i started 3 days before the deadline lol), and i actually did want to make it so that when you die you begin from the start but it was becoming to hard to get to the end of the game and also considering i had to put time into fixing bugs i'd see along the way. but i think the current way fits well enough. maybe i wouldve made it so that the boxes would reset when you die but im lazy and im like half sure i cant update my game... thanks for the feedback
The graphics are very nice, and weird... but nice! The music is hypnotizing... it has a very Sheppy a Short Adventure vibe, I'd say, but the gameplay is a bit weird. It can improve, it has potential, good game
yeah sorry about the gameplay, its just stitched together from the first map so the only really cool thing i could fit in was the rainbow glass at the end, thanks for commenting:>
I suggest explaining the buttons in the description at least. It took a while to figure out the buttons, and some people don't have the patience to experiment.
I really liked the way that the death menu shows up. Was it inspired by somewhere?
sorry about the controls, i'll fix that right now. i actually dont know what somewhere is.. although a while back i made a geometry dash level called somewhere but it is not even remotely similar lol
Hahaha sorry I mean if it was inspired by another work. The design is slick!
i hate to say this but unfortunately my inspirations are very limited since i actually create most of my projects game related or not on a computer that only uses ethernet connection. but i can say that most of the graphical personality comes from the music because when i made it i had a sort of idea of how it would fit into the game so yeah. i'll be sure to check out somewhere whenever i get the time, or... wifi?
Good stuff. I had a little trouble finding the shoot key. Then when i found it had trouble pressing it while running because it is the same hand.
sorry for that, ive updated the description of the game just now to reflect the controls.
i really like the aesthetic of the game! i suggest putting a limit of how many monsters could spawn in the level :)
i would like to mention that the spawns are dictated by activity, if you just spam w then you could actually break the game lol. should have probably made that more clear though..
