Hell yeah, I saved my bro!  Just needs some SFX and more complex enemy paths, and then it would be a really solid game.  I liked the dark level, that was a solid challenge and I had fun!

Developer

Thank you for playing. Glad you liked the dark level.

I like the music and I think the concept has the potential to grow into something, but I would have like to see a bit more to the gameplay. I found that just crawling along the very bottom of the screen got me through a level, making the last level dark helped make it more challenging. Congrats for finishing in good time.

Nice done, i just was confused about the dogs. If you need to move thorugh them it is a nice mix with timing and observation, the last lvl i needet to look very close to see the enemys. But, it seems that you need to adjust the collider to prevent that the player is moving out of the range of enemys. The complete screen edge is free to move, no enemy will come there, they all stop a short time befor reaching it, so you can just easy move along the edges and nothing happens.

The sound is matching very well and i think if you develop this further with more story and levels it could be a great puzzle adventure.

Good Job :)

Thank you for your astute comments.

Frustrating but in a really fun way. It makes me want to have "just one more go" every time... good job!

thx!

To say that is "connecting" when two sprites collide is a creative way to meet the theme. From this viewpoint, any 2D platformer, arcade space shooter back to Asteroids and Pong itself would fulfill the theme. Hm.

The gameplay is simple and effective, is has all the "Learn this pattern or die!" drive which I don't like at Soulslikes :-)

Anyway, the music was nice, it had a bit of story and a cool title.

Thanks. I had Suno AI create the soundtrack as I couldn’t find existing free music that works. Then I decided to have the AI do 2 remixes of the main track: level 1 to be slightly animalistic as it had robotic animals, and cyborg like in the second level.

Yeah, “connection” has a literal meaning 🤗

Was a fun game trying to figure out the patterns, the 3rd/last level just felt a bit unfair but otherwise was fun... well done!

Developer

I was thinking the first two levels were rather easy, so I made it harder to see for the last level but I’ve tried it and it’s “winnable”. Glad you like it

Really have that "just one more time"-feeling, really nice. Simple but fun, as it should be!
