fun tycoon-ish game unfortunatly alot of the game was cut off for me cause I am on a 1366x768 laptop screen so I couldn't see the info at the top or see the speed upgrade or the 2 lanes at the top and bottom

Developer

Ah sorry about that, i need to spend more time next time on testing and polishing.  Thanks for playing!

Submitted

I immediately screwed up the game by purchasing too many c cables lol. Afterwards it was fun! Reminds me of mobile games like cooking fever, and other "fulfill the order within the time limit" style games

Developer

Thanks, I was meaning to have one of each station unlocked at the start, but changed which broke that about 10min before the game had to be in :D

The concept is interesting, definitely a game of the modern age ...

It seems to work ok, even if it feels a little clunky to move about at times.  Not a bad submission.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

It was a fun experience but annoying at times. I kept giving the items back to the wrong person after i unlocked more counters. Sometimes, I also accidentally placed fully charged items on another charger when trying to walk past it.

Developer

Hi thanks for playing, I should have laid out the chargers and counters better to avoid that - just ran out of time.

Great game. I would have liked to be upgrading to be more specific, since I sometimes bumped into something and upgraded it by accident. Thanks a lot for the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing, i took it the need to press a button to select upgrades to make it quicker, but should have laid out the level better.

The game is good and the gameplay is pretty fun and upgrades are also helpful and satisfying. The only thing which annoyed me was the UI, not knowing who gave what item to get charged. An easy fix would be to indicate the person by a outline or something like that when you have an item in hand. same could be done for charging terminals. Other than that great effort, it was an overall fun experience despite some bad experiences. There was also one problem where devices would go to different charging ports and different customers when you walk past them. This was pretty annoying and had to be tackled with following very specific paths which I personally did not like. because you try to be quick but end up losing more time which ruins the experience in my opinion.

Hi thanks for playing and the feedback - you're right on both counts, I ran out of time - adding a highlight was on the todo  list, frustrating as it only took about 20min to code and add. The level layout and timing needed playtesting, I could have staggered the counters and chargers to reduce the likelihood of accidental pickup/drops.

Submitted

First I was unsure how it worked because I assumed that I have to press something to pickup, but helps when I actually read the instructions :D

After that it was addicting to keep charging the devices and getting upgrades here and there. I really liked it, thanks for the game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and positive feedback, much appreciated!

I really enjoyed the game! At first I had a bit of trouble because, in the browser version, the top of the screen was cut off on my setup, which made it difficult to see some important information like money and progression. I ended up zooming out the browser window to fit everything on screen, and after that I was able to properly understand how everything worked.

Once I got past that, I had a great time. The gameplay loop is genuinely addictive, and it's very satisfying to keep upgrading the shop, unlocking new stations, and serving more and more customers. Watching the operation grow over time feels rewarding and kept me wanting to continue playing.

One suggestion I have would be to make it easier to identify which customer owns each device. Maybe devices could inherit a small color marker from the customer, or there could be some other visual indicator connecting them. Once all five queues are active and multiple customers are waiting at the same time, it can become difficult to remember who requested what.

Overall, I thought this was an excellent and very fun game. Great concept, great progression, and a surprisingly addictive gameplay loop. Nicely done!

Thanks for the great feedback, very much appreciated! You're right, the customer should be highlighted when ur holding their device, but i ran out of time to put that in (frustrating as it took just about 20min to add). Also the tuning is off it shouldn't be as hard so fast, but glad you enjoyed. Thanks again!

This is a surprisingly cool game! I wasn't expecting the controls to feel intuitive but it does to me! This game has hugee potential to be like a full on costumer service game which is awesome! I wish there were a bit of music and more classification on who's device is who's though but other than that, great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed. Original plan was to have levels, starting with a small shop and working your way up to larger shops, but that idea plus music, playtesting and polish all got dropped when I ran into the reality of not enough time. :D

Completely understandable in a game jam setting! xD

As it seems I am very bad at customer support. I kept giving the wrong item to the wrong person but honestly such a lovely game and such a genius idea to create a charging station. I really enjoyed the game and it was kinda addictive. I loved the upgrading system, buying extra booths, extra charging stations, faster charging... awesome. You did excellent job. Congrats!

Developer

Thanks for playing! you're not bad at customer support, i'm bad for not adding in a highlighter to show you which customer's device you're holding :D I had originally thought it would make the game fun/hectic but it trips into frustration quite quickly especially as the customers use the same sprite.

Submitted

Woah that was stressful xD

I couldn't keep track whose device it was and lost a lot of time putting the things on the wrong desks 馃

Cute little people and it does make one wish to play again, just to have a better strategy the next time :)

Developer

thanks for playing :) , it was on the todo list to make it clear who's device you had but ran out of time - sorry for the stress :D

Submitted

Really fun loop with addiction potential. I just think early game needs to be a little slower.

Developer

agreed, thanks for playing - defintiely needed play testing - complete guess at the rate the customers came in :D

Submitted

fun but hard at first

Developer

Thanks, yes i should have play tested it (far) more and added a tutorial (amongst a few other things that were on my todo list).

Submitted

It was a little hard to understand at first, but after its so fun!!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! And fair comment, a basic tutorial was one of the things that was on the todo list, but ran out of time.

This is a really fun game once you get the hang of it.

I kept accidentally upgrading and picking things up. Maybe a dedicated button for these things would help. I still enjoyed the game, though. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and fair feedback. I originally had it that you had to click a button to pick up/drop or purchase upgrades. Removed it to try and speed things up. Could have laid out the room better so accidental hits were reduced.

Submitted

I could not charge the batteries and thus got soft-locked and was unable to continue, or it might be just me not knowing how to play this game. I like the idea though! GG!

Developer

Oh sorry about that.  You unlock the charger (any of the six battery symbol blocks) using cash (the first ones closest to the counter cost 拢5 to unlock), then collect the device from the counter and put it onto either the lightning or USBC  charger. You start with 拢15 so if you spend all the money on speed boosts or unlocking counters you will lose :D

Submitted

It's really fun, I dig it! A bit confusing, having to remember which device for which customer, but I enjoyed it! Nice job!

Developer

yeah, needed more playtesting to either reduce the counters or add in a highlight on the customer who's device you had...just ran out of time :D . thanks for playing!

Really fun game 馃槃 Great job on finishing a full jam project. I liked the atmosphere and gameplay idea. If you get time, I鈥檇 appreciate it if you checked out my game too

Developer

Thanks for playing and no problem played and rated yours :D

Submitted

Thanks for the game! I liked the simple concept and the visual design. You can tell there was effort put into it.

Developer

Thanks for playing, much appreciated!

HAHAHAHA! POWER TO THE PEOPLE! by giving them more chances to stare on their phone. exactly my type of humor! the game was pretty well done, but once I had all the counters open I was hopelessly overwhelmed trying to figure out which phone belonged to whom, which I feel like was the kind of stress you were aiming for. so very well done.

Developer

Thanks - if you got all queues open you're a winner in my book :D , the memory part was part design choice part no time to add queue naming/device tagging function :D.
