This game is SO GOOD!!! The Animations are INSANE!!! I could never, and the music OH ME GORSH, on my playlist NOW!!!!!!!! And the comedy in the dialog too is just the cherry on top, only thing I would recommend is more gameplay (because it was kinda short) but still SO PEAK!!!!!
THANK YOU !!! Love to hear this too :D
Cute game and a lot of fun! The boss transition was great! The boss moves felt extremely āboss-likeā.
Only frustrations were not knowing why I couldnāt use my boss moves sometimes, and long animations on some of the goose moves.
But very enjoyable game! Great work.
Thank you!! Will improve on future one :)
You guys did a great job and i think u could really win this jam! The art is almost perfect, the SFX are good, the game is fun to play and the boss fight is simply fantastic, good job!
Thank you so much !!
Ok, this is an interesting game.
I think you should have scrapped the first section of the game and concentrated more on the other half, the actual boss, which was very amazing! Honestly, the first part doesnāt make much sense: it is what holds the game back! You are forced to lose at some point, what you do feels a bit useless. Also, the controls felt slow, but then it made sense. They are actually built with the second part in mind, when you become the boss. Thatās when the game becomes unique, and it actually starts following the theme in a very strong way, that part should have been the main focus in my opinion, some thimes less is more, amazing job there!
Finally, the art was amazing, little to say there. The music fitted, but a bit more work could have been done on the SFXs.
Other than that, very solid submission.
Good job! š
Thank you will work on the future project !
This is good not thing to say much
Interesting word choice Thank you !!
Without a doubt, this is excellent work!
The tutorial, although simple, is extremely functional, educational, straightforward, and to the point. This is a very positive aspect, as it allows players to immediately jump into the gameplay while already understanding the main concepts and objectives of the game. Being able to experiment with the mechanics without limitations also greatly helps with understanding them.
The art is wonderful and fits the gameās atmosphere perfectly, especially in relation to its story. The sound effects are also great and are a fantastic complement to the overall experience.
The main mechanic of choosing attacks was very interesting. It really feels like pre-defined boss attacks, which aligns well with the jamās theme. I especially liked the variation in attacks. However, I would have liked to see a way to cancel an attack once it has been chosen—perhaps with some kind of cost to the player, such as a temporary speed reduction. Sometimes I wanted to change direction, but I couldnāt because an attack was already in progress.
The controls are functional and do their job well, but honestly, I found it a bit overwhelming to have everything mapped to just one hand. At some point, it becomes a bit tiring to keep using only the left hand. It would be interesting if at least the cleaning mechanic could be mapped to the arrow keys, helping to reduce the strain on the other hand.
Overall, itās an excellent game. Itās genuinely fun, and the backstory is a great addition that gives the game more identity. Congratulations on the project, and good luck in the jam!
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled you enjoyed the art, mechanics, and tutorial. Your feedback on attack-canceling and key-binding is brilliant—Iāll definitely implement those improvements. Thanks for playing!
Damn dude, what a great pixel art style.
The colors, the art, everything.
You did a great job here, I don't have feedbacks, just looking forward to see more games from you.
Congrats
Thank you for your comments :D !!!!
Art and animation direction is perfection! The boss having a second phase was super unexpected, and a whole new skill set is awesome!
Thank you for your comment this mean alot to mean :)
the pixel art is amazing.
Thank you so much appreciate that!
The goose janitor is really cute and the pizel art really well done, nothing to add. The idea to have a brief tutorial as a playable level is smart and effective.
My main problem was with the controls. I had some problems shifting between E skill, E cleaning, Q, R... feeled a bit messy on the keyboard.
Still a really nice experience.
Will keep about key binding in our minds for the next one! Thank you!!
Amazing art. Really wish i could use two hands to play the beginning, instead of cramming all the controls in one space, but i got used to it eventually. By then the game had transitioned to the "Boss" battle, which was fun though I didn't really feel much in control. I would have been a funny coup de gras if in the end you had to perform the sweeping minigame in the boss form. "Well i better get back to cleaning" > mega broom
Thank you so much on your opinion we wasn't execute the boss control well but your comment will be fix in our next one !! Thank you so much
Amazing game! The pixel art is really well done and the visuals in general, I love the boss music and the ending is perfect. The main character is super cute and I love the cleaning mechanic with the A and D, it's just very satisfying to execute. The boss battle at the end was really well done, and I liked that you added a wave count as well. I love the idea of having the tutorial as the start screen, that was just super clever.
Here are some points of improvement:
- I think it takes a bit too long to build up to the boss fight. Maybe making it a bit shorter might help
- At the start I found the attacks a bit hard to control, especially with the Q. I would much prefer if Q did a single attack rather than a combo by just pressing it once. But once it got to the boss fight the controls were pretty simple and overall felt great to control.
But other than that, I think it's an amazing game jam entry. I really enjoyed playing this game, so good job :D.
Love to hear it . This is our second jam. thank for playing our game !
:)
I loved the aesthetics and the atmosphere of the game. That pixel art style looks very good. The mechanics are simple and very polished. However, because of the issue I don't see that you are the boss, rather the street sweeper :D. However, a game with a lot of future, if you add story and narrative, and more dynamic movement buttons, it would be great.
