Fun little game!
Thank you ❤️❤️
Love it. Really Cozy and warm feeling comes across while playing. The Watercolored visuals matches really ood with the complete game, the difficulty was very balanced and the idea great. The small hints, placed in storys where a wonderful idea. Played it complete through. Nice work very polished.
Thank you so much for that lovely feedback❤️❤️❤️
Really enjoyed this.
Thank you:)
I like the puzzles and the UI is especially clean and feels crisp with the sound effects. I think this is one of the good uses of AI where everything is cohesive and not overdone and you still accomplish the vision of the game. I wish there was music it would tie it all together super nicely. The little short stories are fun to explore. I could definitely see a game like this where there is voice acting and cozy story telling
Thank you for your feedback❤️ I didn’t put the music because I was worried that it will be too much or I won’t be able to match it properly - so I left it without. Voice actor sounds very interesting - I’ll think about that next time!❤️
Love this, very cozy and sound effects were nice! The only thing that frustrated me was sometimes there are no clues about which children should be on right or left, so I tought both answers would be correct, but then I gotta try and find out which one actually is wrong. Maybe there was a clue already and Im too dumb to understand, sorry if that is the case, was a fun and calming experience!
Thank you for your feedback :) I thought I made it work :/ I know that I had some troubles with twins, but others should work normally (according to how they look there’s one ”space” a bit higher than the other one - so it’s older than the other:) ) but I’ll try to make it better next time:)
OHH, sorry then, I didn't see that! thanks for clarifying
It’s fine - I should make it more obvious:) I’ll work on that in the future:)
Very cozy game. I liked the aesthetics a lot. The entire game looks very polished and the theme is actually very catchy. The interaction with the cards felt very satisfying , I like the sounds of the cards and how they snap to the position. I didn't complete the game, I only played entire easy, half of the medium and a couple of the hard levels just to check the difficulty. For the given time of 10 days I would say this is a lot of content and work done for this game Its a great submission. Well done!
Thank you so much for your feedback❤️❤️❤️
I really like the concept and interpretation of the theme.
Thank you :)
Beautiful aesthetics, fun to play nice game..
thank you ☺️☺️
Really beautiful game, great presentation and alignment with the theme. Really impressive to have done so much for the Game Jam
Thank you so much for your feedback <3
This is not a game I would play. But having played it, I feel like it needs music of some kind! Music would have went a far way to help enhance this. And I was surprised for how much care into other details there were, there was no music. I was able to solve all the easy puzzles without needing to read them. I have to be honest, I was not too interested to read them because it is just not my style. I felt like in middle school where you solve those word problems (oh hell no)!! XD
Having said that, when I did read the stories. I found it very endearing in a weird way, that all the characters throughout the project seemed intricately thought out and all connected regardless of the game difficulty/puzzles. A lot of thought went into designing the entire family of characters who are all seem to be related in one way or another and I appreciate that thoughtful amount of detail. Because at first, I thought each puzzle was going to be just randomly generated characters but discovered this was all purposely and intentionally designed. Even though I didn't feel compelled to read, I still ended up doing so because this project just has that magic with the art overall look, feel, and dialogue (story). I literally went back to the easy puzzles to actually read, just to actually get a better understanding and appreciate how all the characters were connected. I almost felt like I was transported into the lives of these characters as a ghostly observer.
I really like the art style and it reminded me of some of the cartoons I used to watch when I was a kid growing up... like "Little Bear" on Nick Jr. lol!!! I was like omgoshhh, it's like those old cute cartooooons! So that had some personal magic for me, and the art style kept me engaged as well (even though it was Ai influenced). I really enjoyed the UI elements and the menu navigation and settings available that I am sure many people could appreciate. The developers of this project showed a lot of thoughtfulness and care by taking into consideration different accessibility options for a broader audience. The UI interactions have a nice amount of feedback and the subtleness while interacting with all those elements slightly make for not having music.
This was a nice little project. Not extremely engaging... but just so magickal in its own special way, that it feels compelling for me to engage with.
You can do a lot with your matching mechanics system. Re-skinning it as well implementing into other projects later as its own separate system. Nice drag and drop integration possibilities in order to create cause and effect logic.
Thank you so much for a very detailed feedback <3 I thought that music can betoo overwhelming or hard to match with thisproject, so I decided to not put any - to not distract player from other details of the game :) I spent some good time to make the family tree and connections between the characters. And yes - I used AI to make that beautiful graphics bacsue my drawing skills are zero to none XD And code as well - although after my last participation in other jam I decided to take bigger part in making the project from the coding side, so adjustments or small parts of code were implemented by me (I'm still learning how to code) manually. I've tried my best with the game :) Thank you for appreciate it <3
yes, there are people that prefer no sound when solving the puzzles I have come to find, which I can understand that perspective. I personally will be adding that as an optional effect for my designs going forward. I do not judge you for the AI assistance. My code was created with the help of using AI. But I am fortunate enough to understand enough coding concepts and logic to really work my prompts. There are just some coding concepts and their implementations that just make me scratch my head for some reason when I try to connect all the dots on my own~ primarily events and coroutines, even following tutorials and experimenting on my own ::skull emoji:: Good luck on learning to code manually with your own wits and skill, power to you!!
Thank you:) I’ll try my best to learn it:)
Wow, that´s a load of content for a jam game :O
I like the idea of your game but I think it can be a bit repetitive.
The hard levels were a bit confusing as there were some lines that didn´t really match up with how you would draw a family tree normally and redoing everything after submitting a wrong answer was a bit annoying. Maybe make the player have 3 tries (one for every star) instead of getting a penalty for every wrong placement. That could allow for smoother gameplay as they don´t have to restart the level every time they get something wrong.
Keep up the good work (maybe next time even without AI ;) )!
Thank you for you feedback:) yes, I’ve tried to adjust harder level - it just didn’t work well:/ and changing into ”mistakes for stars” without restarting sounds actually better than what it’s now - I’ll definitely work on that:)
Amazing game. Fun to play. Crazy amount of content for a jam game. Specially the accessibility settings, always mind blowing the attention for the player. Its relaxing and anyone can play it.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
I like the idea it's a nice little puzzle game! I found some of the trees were confusing with lines that didn't seem to match-up where they were meant to connect on hard mode, Mistakes would give me 2 X's for mixing up 2 placements which seems harsh as placing all cards will always result in 2 misplaced positions. I like the concept of the type of puzzle and the feel is great!
Thank you for your comment:) Yes, I was struggling a lot to find a way to put that correctly… :/ I will definitely have to work on that harder:/
So, there's many puzzles, but they're don't have much depth and get repetitive fast. I think this game could have benefit from a meta-narrative threading all the families together. Interesting idea!
Cool idea! I will definitely think about that ! ❤️ thank you❤️
Not my cup of tea, however I'll give it to my gf to try it later as she loves those kind of puzzles. Impressive work <3 and unique idea!
Thank you:) That’s nice that people do like my game❤️
Wow, I am so impressed. I know this kind of game as little puzzle in magazines for children but in this format it’s awesome. Also the art fits to the family trees.
I never thought about making such a game. You inspired me.
Rating mine would be nice.
the game looks lovely and the premise is great, but it feels a little strange to me as well. It puzzles me (pun intended) that you have thirty levels but the puzzles all feel a little flat and not really going somewhere. I might become a bit paranoid, but the game feels very AI generated to me (on a game design level) in that there is a lot there that looks like a game, but it's missing concrete direction on where to go with these ideas.
I don't mean this as an accusation but as an honest feedback on how the game feels to me and I hope this might be helpful.
Thank you for the feedback:) I just wanted to make a quick, simple game with nice graphics - nothing complicated:) and… I can’t draw, so AI helped me with the graphics - although all cut outs and adjustments I’ve done by myself:) It looks very AI - all the graphics are AI made - maybe that’s why:/ I’ll try next time to make a game with more exploration/game inside the game - if that’s what you meant:)
Really nice game! Amazing how many levels you made!
Thank you:) I just made the connections in the tree, but AI made the code to make it graphically:)
I'm amazed you were able to make so many puzzles in 10 days! The art style was wonderful
thank you:) it’s only 30😂 not that much:)
