Always happy to read about Saurians! I love how well you tied their worldview in, both to the battle and to where they started.
Must say I'm a sucker for rats. Even when they are the enemy.
The atmosphere is amazing. It felt like the battlefield was never ending. You stopped it at the right moment to move on to the younglings.
