Nice concept and plenty of scope to expand on the idea
Love the feeling tension it creates. lots of potential. good work man.
Nice concept!
Seems stressful at first, but once I actually read the tutorial it got pretty easy honestly, interesting concept with a unique twist :D
I stood strong! I got good at switching it back and forth, I can definitely see what upgrades you can implement , lots of ways to go/potential. gg ty
Nice mechanics! A bit hard to keep track but I'm not good at tower defense. Great job!
Fun game liked the tension, managed to beat it Just....
upgrades, more connections etc would be a fun game to play for longer, nice job!
A very fun game. I like the mechanic of charging turrets with different colour. Aesthetics is amazing too. Only suggestion is that you implement a upgrade system.
Not going to lie...you had me at your thumbnail with the retro sunset look :)
This was a fun game and I managed to beat it on my second try! Your tower models are great but man that mouse mechanic is stressful. I wish there had been a keyboard mapping for at least the selected colour to take some of the strain off, but it was balanced enough that I kept both towers alive through all the waves.
Very nice job. I look forward to see it on Steam!
Made it to wave 7 before the link cable got stuck. Was an enjoyable stressful simulation the entire time.
Modeling of the towers was great, awesome work with that :)
I would have liked to get some kind of preview of the upgrade mechanics you mention in your game description. Right now it seems very "fill the progress bar". What kind of design space have you given yourself for upgrades other than just more towers?
A very polished demo though :)
Well done, cool idea for a tower defense
Great jam game, well executed visuals and sound effect. The gameplay concept is good but as you're targeting an eventual commercial release I'll give feedback with that perspective and considering this a prototype version:
1. Managing towers by manually moving the connector cable is a bit tedious, a button to do so would be smoother IMHO
2. The waves could come from more directions to increase variety
3. Music would add a lot to the experience
4. The game could be more intuitive so even skipping the tutorial makes the player able to pick up and play (point 1 above might help with that).
Great game! Loved the intensity, the mechanics work great and I had lots of fun.
Wow it really got frantic once the speed picked up! Nice work, great execution of a cool concept. I think I died due to a bug - I couldn't move the cable when the tower died that it was connected to.
that was INTENSE! you probably have a 1000 ideas you want to implement, but let me tell you: for this jam context it had the perfect length and complexity to have an engaging playthrough right out of the bat. real good job on scaling and balancing there.
Very fun game. Managed somehow to survive through on first try. On second try I had difficulties with moving the cable, it seems to get stuck occasionally.
Cool game, really enjoyed playing it. Sometimes I wasn't able to connect the cable and it went behind the two towers. Accept this everything seems great.
pretty solid tower defense game with a unique spin where you have to charge the turrets with their corresponding colored ammo reserves. The real star of the show for me was the music, it really slaps. Had me rocking my feet and bangin my head while playing. Well done!
Wow, what a fantastic game! The visuals are immediately eye-catching, of course, but I also love the little details, like the light running along the edges of the hexagons, just awesome! You nailed the theme in a really cool way; using cables and color combinations to charge the turrets is super creative! I was getting slightly stressed playing it 😅. The menu looks damn good too, with proper UI elements. Excellent work!
Once I put the connector one the color bars and couldnt pick it up anymore.
Fun and well-balanced game 😄 Everything felt fair and easy to understand, and the pacing worked really well 👍
