Hello, thank you for participating in the Writing Jam #14! Please email customers@onepagerules.com, to claim your participation minis!
You did a good job building up the tension leading up to an admittedly pretty funny reveal.
Thank you so much!
Good setup and a solid atmosphere! I like the pace of the story a lot as well. Great work!
Thank you!
I like the setup. The MC trying to balance a wounded comrade, plus achieving a task and totally YOLO'ing something that might work. Well done.
Thank you!!!
I would definitely see something like this happen during a RPG session with my group. The dialogs and exchanges were very clear and set the personalities nicely
always nice to see competent people being only barely competent enough. i enjoyed the back-and-forth between matthias and sylwen, especially how casual they sound while everything is actively getting worse. fun piece.
thank you so much!
Great characters! It does take a while for the challenge and the stakes to become clear so the tension is suffering as a result. Also sad to see only an AI generated image. Still, the mood is on point and I have to give you credit for that, a very welcome addition to the contest.
Thank you! Still trying to find the sweet spot for pacing in a story so short so I appreciate it! Also the image is what I found on google but I should’ve paid closer attention since I’d didn’t notice the AI aspect of it.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and character dynamic in this story. Matthias and Sylwen felt like believable companions who had survived far too much together already, and the mix of tension and dry humor worked very well. The bridge sequence with the drums in the fog created a great grimdark fantasy vibe.
Thank you so much! This comment definitely made my night, so I appreciate it!
