Nice concept, maybe a pace a bit more fast, it's really slow at start. Maybe is it the web build? I got kicked out of the map at a moment, when I had a lot of orbs :)

Nice and chill entry, good job!

This is an interesting concept, and a nice relaxing game.

Thank you for the game!

Nice physics game. It is a little bit hard to control, so the player has to be patient. Good job nonetheless.

Amazing. It makes me think of the pikmins meeting the goo. Very fun. I really appreciated the ending too. Well said.

I liked the music.

Cool Idea, I'm playing with  a mousepad so I couldn't fully enjoy it :/

Very original game. Good job on implementing the custom physics.

Cool concept, I know it’s not actually super similar but it reminded me a little of the LocoRoco games in terms of the vibe (collecting smaller critters to be able to do more things). I think some in-game tutorial would be helpful since I was super confused until I read through the description a bit. While I think the way the orbs connect is very cool visually, toning down the swaying a little may also make it a bit easier to control while still keeping the cool physics-y visuals. I think I got to the end (reached the square) but I’m not 100% sure. Nice job!

This is a pretty cool game. I like the concept, although it took some time to understand how it actually works. This game is a bit incomplete but that means it has a lot of room to grow. I am pretty sure you can improve the graphics and make the gameplay smoother. Also you should add level system. Then it will become a great game.

Developer

I agree with you about the incomplete state, it's probably even less than a prototype and i wish there was a "proof of concept" tag, i'm now trying to imagine how the mechanic could be used in a wider gameplay scenario, thanks for the advices!

Nice submission.

The gameplay is interesting and fits the theme nicely. It took me a minute to figure out how to move around at first, but once I got it getting used to the node gameplay was intuitive.

I found that using a small amount of connected nodes (2-3) produced the best results.

We also tried incorporating balloon and anchor nodes in our submission but, admittedly, our physics weren’t fine tuned very well.

The simplistic graphics remind me of classics such as Knytt and Within a Deep Forest.

Wish there was a full screen toggle.

Hey Colossus thanks for playing, i agree by experience ( after making this prototype ) that physics require a ton of testing and fine-tuning, i should have tried more settings before submitting.

I have tried your game yesterday, baloons and anchors were looking fine to me, maybe baloons had just a bit too much pull but all was working fine in my opinion.

Thanks for your feedback!

Very unique take on the theme!

I liked the final message at the end of the game (even if the mechanics necessitated casting away connections when they became inconvenient... 🤔)

It may just be me, but I kept getting left and right click functions confused. To me, clicking with left to add and right to remove felt like the intuitive way to handle input.

The music is nice, but a bit repetitive.

The map is a bit maze-y, it's not always clear which direction is the correct one to go in. Namely, there's a point where going very high up (near the area marked 'THE SQARE') seemed like the intended direction, only to later learn that back tracking was necessary. Not impossible to figure out by any means, just not as obvious as I would have liked.

The aesthetics are good, it's fun being an orb with a bunch of mini-orbs sticking out in all directions. :)

What a cool way to make use of the theme! I finished the game, really enjoyed it.

Cool idea, well-chosen visuals, and audio track

I think there's a lot of potential here. I really enjoyed the challenge but think the controls could use some refinement (as others have mentioned). However, for a jam game I think this turned out good enough and was easy to understand. Pretty chill music selection as well. Nice work!

I think I broke the game... If you collect too many orange and blue spheres, they go crazy and start moving away until the background turns gray and the sphere turns into the typical 90's disco sphere :D
