I hope you continue developing this title.
Wow! What an incredible experience! It felt like a proper full little game! very solid! That last level stumped me pretty good. I may have to come back to this one lol!! I could honestly see a full steam release of this one day. Great job!
thanks so much!!! super excited to work on the full version!
Really cool game! Very complete and solid with great aesthetics and mechanics. Took a little bit to really understand what was going on but I ended up beating the bonus level. Some very creative uses of what seems like a simple mechanic, and very on-point for the theme. Thanks for sharing!
yay great job on beating the extra level! thanks so much for playing!!!
This one is tricky! I love the aesthetics, and how they blend perfectly with the gameplay, I'd make a Nintendo DS port for this tbh but that is way outside the scope of this Jam. Peak character design, understandable tutorial, awesome handmade pixel art, solid 10/10.
thank you so much!!! that is a huge compliment for me, i grew up with ds games and its my favorite console! id super make a ds port haha
I still have my DS Lite, it is probably over 20 years old by now but it is good taken care of :3
I play Pokemon Platinum on it
nice!!! my favorite is pokemon black & white 2 (one of the games im working on has visuals heavily inspired by it in fact!), i love that game’s use of 2d sprites and 3d world (which i think platinum also uses but b&w was where they really went all out on it imo)
Never tried those but I hear they're good, expensive on 2nd hand market though, I bought my Platinum in 2008
First impressions, the art is AMAZING!! We loved both the sprite art and all the little effects (such as the lil dust particles when jumping), also the main character is really cute! It all oozes personality, the devil is in the details, the little holding skirt movement when falling just complements everything. Overall, the mechanics were very fun and felt not only polished but properly explored. The extra level in particular (which we havent finished YET) demonstrates you've thought out a multitude of different ways it can be used, beside the obvious plug and power mechanic. Genuinely a great foundation, and aside from more levels i dont know what else could even be added. Really solid game, looking forward to see your future works!! :))
(PS: we were fighting over the computer during the extra level to see who could beat it for a solid 30 minutes just bickering and addicted. Really wanna underline how fun it was. Great job!!)
HAHA thanks so much!!! im really glad to hear it, the extra level ended up being a little too difficult than id have liked, i just went kinda crazy haha
This is such a great entry! The push-pull mechanic works so well and once it clicks, it makes for very smart level design and puzzles. I see you’re interested in expanding this post jam and I think you should absolutely do it! It’s a solid prototype, the art works, it’s clean and polished, and it does what it wants to do really well. Thanks for trying out my game too!
hiii thanks so much!!! i have tons of ideas for the game post jam, just waiting until june 3rd to start, but very excited! and of course, your game was amazing!!!
I made it to the last level but didn't finish it. But the connection mechanics worked amazing. It felt so nice to play with the magnets. And from level design perspective it was so genius and well structured. I really enjoyed the game and i believe it is a great submission to the Jam. My congrats. you did excellent job.
no worries about the last level! im really glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much!!!
Great work! I loved these challenges, I don't play a lot of 2D platformers, but i am pretty sure this is better than 90% of the games on the market. I hope to see a finished version one day!
wow thats pretty big praise, im glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much!!!
What do you mean Extra Challenge! I was so relieved after completing the "Final Challenge" and then you hit me with that.
Great work, I really enjoyed that. I hope you develop it further.
HAHA im sorry! im glad you enjoyed it though!!!
I had to call it quit on the last stage, I have no idea how to pass that door, after the first part.
Its incredibly fun and feels like a complete game. This sub is loaded in creativity and neat game design. You gotta be proud of wha you deliver. Thats amazing!
no worries! thanks so much!!!
This was pretty fun! and then when I got to last stage i got so irritated, My strategy whether intended to be or not was to manipulate the bottom two plugs as a stair case where, where the 3rd one remained plugged to unseal that long bar above the poison pool; every time I would retract the one beneath me to jump on top of the one that came to me until eventually was able to reach that ledge and got up there but, then my vision screen space couldn't not see the left bottom of the level cause I was too far to the top right. I was trying so many things.
Something that was really confusing was telling which plug I would be in control of. It felt like the one that I was manipulating would switch to the plug that was connected to the socket when that was not the one I wanted to retract. It's either obvious and I missed it, intuitive, or at random? I could not tell. It left like it was randomly choosing a plug, though I could tell a likely plug interaction would happen because it had the radius which I assumed meant more likely to interact with another appropriate object within the radius. This was clever. I think you should consider a more obvious way to tell which plug you were going to be affecting if you click on it, causing whichever one to retract. This was my only major confusion on that last puzzle with the 3 plugs. But this is likely my skill issues XD It was hard to tell which Plug was gonna retreat back to where it started when I felt sure I was trying manipulate a different one.
I like riding on the plugs, I died in a lot of surprising ways, which was hilarious. I was so determined :P
I liked the color scheme. Simple and seemed well executed. The readability is great, nice saturated and unsaturated values, nice contrast. I love red and blue together, makes my brain fuzzy. The gameboy-esque music was nice.
This would be a fun project to see develop and to watch where it goes. Also to learn more about the character and if there is a story behind that character and within the game itself.
thanks so much for playing!!! we do have a mechanic to allow you to pan your camera by moving your mouse off screen but it’s not working suuper well, we didnt have enough time to mess with it
so the only rule with the plugs is that you can only magnetize one at a time, plugs connected to sockets dont count. if it was randomly retracting a plug from its socket when you selected another unrelated one, thats not supposed to happen! ill take a look and try to fix it! if its okay, could you explain more or less how it happened?
but yeah i totally agree, its not as intuitive as i thought itd be, ill definitely be taking notes for the final version! also there will be a story but its not gonna be the focus
again, thanks so much for playing and for the valuable feedback!!!
I will play it again, and if you don't mind, I can make a short video and upload it to Youtube later so you can see what I was talking about.
ohh i would really appreciate it
oh wow thanks so much for the video!
i see now, so the plug thats going into the socket is always gonna be the last plug that entered its range (the while circle), and also it has to be inside that white circle to pull it! i see that it can be really confusing though, there should be clearer visuals to show which plug is going to be pulled if you release the mouse buton
SPOILERS:
your strategy is correct! the only thing missing is that you can actually jump from the left plug connected into the socket into the safe platform on the right (if the staircase didnt get you far up enough), and then after jumping there you can safely aim at the bottom left socket to connect the other plug (thats connected to the top socket) into it, then opening the door. where mag is only affects where the plugs will land when you pull them, you dont have to stand close to sockets to plug them in, though i can also see why that can be confusing and that wasnt explained at all either
also dying when jumping on top of a plug is really frustrating, that shouldnt happen and thats the kind of thing thatll really frustate the player out of the game, especially in the last level after working so hard to get through the first part, ill fix that ASAP
thanks SO much for the video and feedback, its really invaluable, seriously!
I'm glad it was helpful!! I was doing all that extra work when I could have just jumped XD
Extra funny.... a similar thing happened to me in the prior room with the electric gate (my first play through) that fries you to death where I kept going in circles then realizing I could actually clear the jump over the length of gate, but because the first gate fried me it scared me from thinking of trying to clear the longer version of it~ it took me some time to realize my jump is a lot longer than I was perceiving it to be XD I look forward to playing more in the future! I don't have patience for a lot of platforming mechanics, especially when I am constrained to the keyboard but I am trying to expand to play more types of games, especially after this game jam and trying all these different projects. I'll keep an eye out for your game!!
HAHA yeah thats actually a common experience from what ive seen, people get scared out of trying to jump the longer version, the game also doesnt teach you that your jump is a lot longer than youd think before that, so i totally get it!
final version should have gamepad support with aiming via the right analog stick and ill make sure things are more well explained and better designed. thanks so much for the support!!!
Hello ! I want to try this game after seeing the cover pic but it gave me a compilation error popup when I pressed play. I would love to play again after the fix or if a windows version is made available.

hii what browser are you using? it works on my pc on firefox and edge, but maybe its a browser issue
i’ll take a look to see if i can understand why it’s happening, but for now aside from changing browsers try pressing ctrl + f5 to clear cache
thanks so much for letting me know!
I use firefox, It seems to be working now. Nice game, mechanics seem to be innovative, nice use of theme.
ohh okay cool! glad you liked it, thanks so much!!!
This was really awesome! I really liked the way you set up the mechanics with the magnetized plugs. They worked really well for the levels. Especially the one where the character rode the blue plug to the next pert of the puzzle. That was fun to figure out.
thank you so much!!! using plugs as platforms was one of our favorite things, wish we used it more!
Amazing jam game, among the best I've played! The art and polish were top notch, the difficulty felt spot on, and I loved the use of the theme. Having the plugs act as tools, platforms, and foes all at once was a really clever mechanic. Great job!
thanks so much, i appreciate it!!!
Really enjoyed it, didnt pass the last level, though.
thanks so much, and no worries!!!
I completed stage 6, but I can't prove it because the end screen is the same as the credits screen accessible from the main title!
This is nicely done. A clean, unique look with great color coding for important facets of the level. The puzzles are simple to ease the player into the mechanics naturally, and the final stage shows the potential they have to offer when the gloves are off.
For the level of precision required in certain sections, it felt like the player doesn't have enough traction to stop from slipping off of things. It can also be difficult to predict how the plugs will react to the magnet, both in the position they'll end up in and whether or not adjacent plugs will react in addition to the targeted one.
Unfortunately I don't know Morse code, so I can't decipher any hidden messages!
whoa good job! knowing the end screen is the same as the credits screen is proof! though i’d believe you regardless haha, level select also has complete icons for each completed level
ill check out the traction and see if i can fix the slipping a bit, and yeah i wish i couldve been a bit more clear with explaining how the magnet works
no worries on the morse code stuff, thats a big extra!
thanks so much for playing & for the feedback!!!!
I'm just "drawn" to this one. Awsome job especially with the connection theme!
that makes me happy, thanks so much!!!
LOVE IT! The magnetic puzzles are intuitive and everything makes sense! I really like the levels it gives me this a-ha moments quite easily! As mentioned, level 6 is quite challenging but once I get how everything works I was able to beat it (though it took me a while)! The aesthetics, sound and music are amazing! Everything feels complete! Though there's some collisions that when I touch I just die immedaitely which can be frustrating (especially on level 6 xD). I had a blast playing this! Great work!
thanks so much spwil!!! i’ll be playing your game next! and thanks for letting me know, i fixed those collisions and also some other issues that showed up in incredibro’s stream!
Really fun magnetic puzzle game you got there! GG!! I really like the aesthetics of the game! :D
sorry i took so long to reply to this, i meant to reply before but because of the stream i guess i forgot…
anyway, thanks so much!!! just tried your game and its really great as well, puzzle buddies!
Great mechanics and level design. I didn't get through the final level but it was all very well put together, and the gameplay is great. I love the graphics and ideas behind level traversal, great job on this game. Add a few different genre of levels and you've got yourself a full game here that is really well polished.
thank you so much!!! we might do some extra stuff for a full game later!
