Does itch.io shadowban users?

My new physical games have not been indexed and I'd like to know why? I've seen recent physical games pop up that were released 30 minutes ago, but mine has still not gone up. What the heck!? I've been working on these for a few months now and would perfer people actually have a chance to see them.

What do you think, a shadowban is?

Because no, Itch does not do shadowbans.

They can however ban your account from being indexed. I have seen such things happen. But usually it is the projects that just fail quality guidelines or are simply not indexed yet.

Hi, I've seen games get added to:

/physical-games/newest

like https://dtsfp.itch.io/qarp here

in as little as an hour, and some of the games added (no comment on qarp) are simply not as good as mine.

I tried emailing support about this twice and have received no response. It's very upsetting. My physical games meet all the requirements to be indexed.

Some games are indexed immediately. Some take weeks (or months).

We’re expected to wait a couple of weeks before emailing the Itch.io about indexing. They’re chronically backlogged with requests. Multiple emails in one day for the same low-priority issue (compared to spam attacks, malware reports, life-and-death payouts) on the same day as the project was published likely won’t endear them to your concerns.

While you wait, you might want to reconsider the pictures of your latest game. In my personal opinion, they aren’t making your game look publishing-ready.
