Thank you for reading! For most of these points I can agree it's a lot of rushing, a "no beta, we die like men" situation, for the outline I didn't actually have them developing their relationship written down, only the part after the chapter 1 or prolouge, I don't really know what to call it, but yeah, the initial plan did not have it in mind, so you're right in thinking that I wanted to get to the later parts yes.
I do agree with the culture influencing their thoughts and actions, that was the idea, there could also have been more side characters that talked about the story or the other kingdom but all I mostly did was dialouge that said "birds and wolves have never been together" I don't even think it came from culture, it was just something that hasn't happened before, like maybe I could've written down that there's a stigma to doing so. As for the magic system, there IS a system. I just did not explain it, and the academy could have made it good for worldbuilding exposition.
For presentation, in short, I had no time. I did as much art as I could in a day or 2 so that I could program it while I was on a trip. Which I didn't even have a lot of time to do on the trip either, which explains the messy audio. The lack of outfit variety can be because of mainstream fantasy, or I'm just not a good fashion designer. Like sure I could say there were limited clothing options back then, but clothing is also part of culture: from the design, to the textiles used, and where the materials come from. It actually should be birds/canines, but I keep switching in my head from canine to wolf, because one could say a dog came from wolves, but a dog isn't really a wolf, and I had no indication that there could even be dogs as well; heck, it should have been avians and not just birds. And thanks for the compliment on the story CGs, but it could be better, lots better.
I still have a track record of having trouble between past and present tense smh. Also, my method of telling that is thoughts and not is by use of quotes, quoting is speaking, no quotes is thought or narration, but then I just remembered that narration can be confused with thoughts fkkkkkk
In short, haven't written so many words before for a story, so I'm not used to it, and I had no time to do polishing, so I just have to accept that this is as much as I could do. BUT, I really want to make this good, so compared to my other projects I want to finish and polish this one, especially when I really like this story and might connect to future ones.
Also for that, I want to change that cg you're talking about a lot more. And thank you again! Also how did you do that drop down?
