Well done! The game needs further refinement on movement, and casting for sure. It is very stiff and clunky right now but these are all things that can be improved on. Overall the high level concept is good and original! You guys took on a ton and got a solid amount done, congrats to you guys!
This game was pretty cool, I loved the intro, but the actual gameplay felt a little confusing. I knew I was supposed to escape, but it felt pretty overwhelming, and there was no clear path or meathod of escape. I used to wand to climb some shelves, but I couldn't find a way from where I got. I think with some more guidance, and maybe some other uses for the wand, this game would be really good! Great job
Loved the game intro and the concept. I understood at a high level that I was trying to leave the room but it took me a while to figure out the steps to achieve that. I figured out the boosted jump from the wand but does the wand have any other uses?
I really liked being able to move the objects around, for a while I thought I was meant to create a staircase but then saw the path to the exit. With a bit more player guidance, less distractions, and more spells I can see a thoroughly engaging game here!
Great job with the game, a giant eyeball with a tiny wizard hat is so funny to me
I loved the intro sequence design, really shows your 2D art capabilities. I ultimately made it through the window cheesing the wall stuck method, I would've loved to see a score screen to see how much I messed with the wizard lab. Was a really cool experience! Nice Job!
I had a bit of trouble getting it to run via Steam Proton (had to back it down to the latest v10). It would be nice to have a menu or way to close out the game either on victory or if your just done playing. Overall great job. Might be fun to allow for distracting/alerting the wizard when moving objects.
Sorry you had trouble playing the game. I don't really have much knowledge about Steam Proton so I don't how to help you with that. Yeah we would've liked to have a main menu and made things more clear in the game, unfortunately we ran out of time for them jam.
Don't worry too much about the Steam Proton issue. Some of the submissions had issues, others didn't. Kind of a toss up. Not sure what the main issue is on any of them. And your not alone in the "running out of time" department.
The intro sequence was so cute, and I love the model designs for the wizard and hob!! I also really like little sneaky games, and the sound queue of when the wizard was close was very helpful :]
I had a little trouble playing the actual game, I wasn't able to jump onto anything and I didn't know how to exit. The wizard found me by clipping through the cauldron in the middle but nothing happened? I might have downloaded the game file wrong or something? <-- kind of bad with computers, I just make art haha ^^
Thank you for playing out game! We love the intro too! We didn't make it too clear, but you are able to use the explosion wand to launch yourself up and around. I think the wizard clipping through the cauldron is a bug. We'll look in to fixing that
Ohhhhh oh my gosh! Okay, I'll play it again :] Thanks so much!
The simple 3D really made me happy, i love this game
Thanks for playing the game! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
