Pretty neat little game! The music was cool and the art style had a nice cartoony vibe. Blasting through waves of enemies was quite satisfying, although the primary pistols could have used a bit more "oomph" in terms of sound effects. I also wish it was possible to look ahead a bit with the mouse.

The turtle boss was very cool and had some impressive attack patterns, but got stuck in the wall towards the end. Otherwise, the only major issue I had is that I'm not sure stamina and energy bars really count as "side effects." Still, very nice job!

theres some bug that i found, first, when the boss kill the player the UI stay, second if u bait the turtle toward the wall it just bugged out, overall good game!

This was an amazing entry! I’m not entirely sure I understand the theme since stamina seems to be a pretty standard mechanic, but overall it was very fun! All of the assets seemed to fit very well together, and the fights were very fun, especially after I got the shotgun!

I think the only minor things are the sliders being a bit off (It seems like both the health, stamina, and energy bars are never empty, but also never full), the enemies being a bit slow to spawn/move, and I think there was a bug with the boss fight. After doing the slam attacks, I hit him with the shotgun and he seemed to get stuck in the “moving into his shell” animation.

Good work on this! I could see this being a full game!

so i liked the game i think it was short and the player was expected to beat the boss on 1st try as after death the health bar doesnt vanish and maybe with healing the checkpoints could act as a save point the rest was great tbh :3 GREAT WORK !!

Pretty cool! Very solid all-around. The shotgun felt good to use, and I appreciated how the level looped back in on itself by the end. I really liked some of the VFX as well. The explosions for example were very stylish. The boss at the end was pretty fun too! Nice work!

A short but  very enjoyable experience, abilities were satisfying to use and a clear objective was given to the players. Well polish and fun, well done!

I loved this game! Really simple mechanics that are easy to pick up and get better at in minutes. Short and sweet. One of my favorite entries so far!

I love shoot-em-ups and I had a blast with it. It was a very cool, albeit short, experience.

Very fun game! I like how you made the weapons unlockable abilities. The shooting was very fun and responsive! I especially like how the shotgun refill is dependent on using your other weapon.

I did encounter a small glitch where I fell off a cliff and my body disappeared, but I was still able to see my shadow and fight the boss. Very good boss fight! I survived for a little while before it destroyed me lol.

There's something so beautiful about an angel with hands and guns lol.

Very good experience, I got Zelda vibes especially from the music (Sounded very Ocarina of Time to me) and the boss design (which looks like the turtle rock turtles and boss from A Link Between Worlds), oh and the stamina meters.

It was fun top-down shooter experience! Really liked the protagonists design and the choices of weapons, tiny guy with a shotgun? Always great! Noticed that the flame demons wouldn't attack, and there was a bug with the boss ending, I assume it was the ending at least, but overall I enjoyed it well! Liked a lot that you put an area that we had to evade fireballs, always a good dynamic for maps, and excellent choice for the sound effects and track.

This was a fun, bite-sized, metroidvania shoot-em up. The VFX & SFX were good, but I felt the music volume could be turned up a bit.

very fun combat, though I couldn't really tell if the turtle demon boss was the ending or if I just bugged out and couldn't proceed

Developer

Yup,The turtle demon was the ending, I just did not fix the ending bug. Thank for playing!

I love the little angel dude its so cute and giving him duel pistols and a shotgun is hilarious, fun game.

Developer (1 edit)

Haha yeah it quite a funny character. I actually made it that way to save time on animating humanoid character. Also thank for playing

Yeah, game really fun. I really liked this concept: you kill skeletons with swords using a pistol and a shotgun. The music really fits. For some reason, I noticed that these fireballs don't attack you at all, they just stand there. And I think they should have put the stamina bar somewhere other than the corner. I often had moments when I didn't pay attention to it and fell.

Developer

Thank for the feedback!

That was fun! Do you plan on expanding on the game?

Developer

Thank for playing! I do plan on expanding the game later on. Probably replace the character and ability but keeping the top down shooter gameplay.

Developer(+1)
