Bro i enjoyed everything of this game. Prity cool concept and well made. I would live to see more features and interactions. Great job

Developer

Thank you so much!  I really appreciate the kind words!

Curious to hear what features and interactions come to mind next for you?

I've been thinking up what a larger planet with hub cities might be like.  More biomes and other planets to explore perhaps.   The ability to remove plants is a quick win that I'll add in a post jam update but sky's the limit.  Cheers!

Yoooo this was such a cool concept, props for the spherical mechanics as well!

Developer

Thank you so much!  The spherical mechanics were the first thing I tried out since I hadn't done it before but it worked pretty alright!  Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!!

Ooooo, this was super cute. Once I figure out I was making music I had to restart and make a song <3 Nicely done. Great instruments picked out for this one! I wish there was more planet rings to make more variations!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much that's so encouraging!  I'll definitely be adding a "remove plant" simple feature in a quick post jam update for that exact scenario.  I've seen it play out a few times so you're not alone!  I like preserving that moment of realization but then it's too late haha.

I like your idea for more planet rings!  I have had so many ideas during and after this jam.  New seed types, more control over each plant and note, and I've even considered new planets nearby that you could hop over to and maybe that one is a drum planet or some such.  Thanks for playing and for sharing your ideas!  Love to hear them!

A beautiful and artistic little game. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Developer

Thank you so much!!

Such a great game idea! I love that we're in space and everything is rotating, and the camera at the end goes way back. The flowers creating music and the voice telling us not to do it is a really fun touch. I really enjoyed playing your game!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words!!  I was excited about the camera going back idea I'm glad that paid off.  The voice from the void was among the first things I thought of when I read the limitation "the instructions are a lie".  Thanks again for playing and leaving feedback!!

Having the music slowly come together as you tend to the plants was such a fun experience. Great job!!

Developer

Thank you!!

It is so cooooool to hear music from plants, and even can play notes with them

Developer

Yay!  I'm glad you enjoyed the music from the plants and then later playing notes with them.  Thanks for playing!!  Cheers to you :)

Awesome idea for a game jam game, first time i played it was without audio, and i was thinking the red line was an indicator for the next day, which made perfect sense to me, but then i came back here to wright my comment and i read all these nice comments about the audio in your game, so i went back and had another playthrough, this time with my audio volume turned up, and i must say i was delighted to hear those first notes, and then hear it play a melody, really enjoyed it, you did a very good job with this one, keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much I really appreciate that!  Grateful for you playing and leaving feedback!

That's funny about the audio; perhaps adding a little hint to turn up audio in my description is in order :)  Thank you for the kind words it's great motivation to keep at it!  Cheers!

This was super relaxing! I made a little bop and was delighted to let it play out after I got the ending, fun framing for the game too, with the little world :)

Developer

Thank you so much!!

Pretty cute game. The ending was great as well, though my musical ability is really nowhere near there :P

Developer(+1)

Thank you and thanks for playing!  I was worried it would be out of scope to do the piano at the end but I really wanted to reward the player with that whole ending dealio so I'm glad it made it :D  Cheers!

Fun little game! Very cute art style and enjoyable sound effects ^^ Really liked the free notes at the end, spend a lot of time there :D

Developer

Thank you so much!  This was my first time trying out the toon shaders as I wanted to stick to the beach day palette.  First 3D human and animations as well so I'm glad to hear some positive feedback on the art style.  Thank you for the kind words!

I also like to spend time at the end there haha :D

It's a fun game, at first I thought that I just needed to plant a planet, and then I realized. I love games where music is not just a background, but an important part of it.

Developer

Thank you for playing!!  And for sharing your experience while playing it that's super helpful to me!  That realization moment is important and I'm looking for ways to hint asap that music is central to this planet.  Perhaps music notes in the logo, image, or some such.  I'm also all about music and my first couple game jams did not incorporate audio very centrally so that was a goal of mine for this one.  Cheers and thanks!!

Beautiful game. I’m a sucker for space and music, you’ve got me tearing up just a little.

If you expanded this I’d want to see different plants for each region so you could pick an instrument or sound or whatever.

Loved it, great work.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and sharing!  I love the idea of multiple plants for each region to represent different instruments!!  Perhaps could have 3 kinds of seeds?  Really really glad it resonated with you thank you again for playing and leaving such valuable insights <3

this was such a cool game to play, i love how the way that you plant everything actively changes the background music and i spent way too long playing around on the little piano you made for us. had alot of fun jamming with the plants, really awesome game ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much I appreciate that!  Thanks for taking the time to play and leave feedback.  I'm so glad you enjoyed the ending!  I too have spend way too long playing around on the little piano haha.  Cheers :)

I realized too late that I can build music by choosing where I plant the seeds

Really fun concept thought!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Appreciate you leaving feedback!!  Yeah that makes sense that it's a surprise upon first planting and realizing later means the first placements are not likely ones you'd like to remove or replant.

I'd like to maintain the surprise of discovering that organically but my first quality of life improvement for this game post jam will be to add a remove plant option.  That way once you know what's going on you can remove the ones you don't want and continue on.

I liked the part where you got to play along with the keys. Also, the day-and-night cycle speeding by makes you want to rush.

Developer

Yay!  I'm glad that ending hit.  I agree the speed of the sun cycle does add a bit of urgency

Submitted(+1)

The end with playing music with the keys was funny XD

Developer

thanks so much for playing glad you enjoyed that ending!  I always have a grand time at the end now mashing the keys haha
