Hi again, welcome in for
Session 23
where my recording corrupted AGAIN. Thankfully we didn't really do too much.
session began back in the Protektor archives, fox gets the rest of his nails done, they find the hunter key and the island key, then they left, I believe there was some kind of heated discussion but that may mor may not be my mind mixing up session 22.5 with this one, they leave for the piano room, Fox vaporises a corrupted Eule, they go over to the piano room hallway, Fox eviscerates a corrupted star but inadvertantly breaks the door behind her, Pixie breaks open the piano room door, where they organised their inventories, Pixie saved on the party's behalf, Eve played some songs from Detroit: become human on the mildly broken piano, mildly calming her sister's ghost from "always pissed off at her" to "neutral about her" which was about where we ended for the week. see you all next time with more news probably!
Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.

good afternoon fellow overseers, as well as the few replikas I've given direct access to the after action reports, welcome in for
SESSION 24!
the party started in the piano room, having some idle chats, and deciding to go over to the next floor down, that being floor B8. the observant among you who've played the game recently or simply remember the game in any decent detail, you might remember that one important thing on this floor is the mineshaft access lift. we're getting to the part where I can drop part of the façade soon :]
anyway, combat happened directly as they got to the North hallway, as per usual, also featuring the combat use of bioressonance for the first time[thanks bird], as well as the first use of the "fight back" action[Thank you Fox] before it ended. also two separate weapon malfunctions. how it is physically possible to make a mining laser jam is beyond me but it's Not my fault Pixie rolled a -1 in combat. Anyway, while deciding where to go next, our players left for a unmarked door to their right, ending up....
outside the facility? if we're being specific, space-elevator site Kappa, where Fox and Bird were stationed prior to ending up down here, Bird manages to find a flak vest [takes away a point from speed, adds it to total stat.] as well as a satellite phone on the bed of a formerly National K.L.B.R unit converted to work for the empire.
first call: Staff sergeant B. Miller. in charge of Delta company, which Fox and Bird were stationed with prior to the start of the campaign, who they called while it was 3:12 AM for her. she was tired, confused and clearly unenthused by the fact that two people she had marked as being very dead were actually trapped in some nightmare dimension since for her it had been over 5 months, they already had replacements for Fox and Bird, all of this just sounds like extra paperwork to her. also she might have been the overseer this whole time. who knows. Me. I know. and I'm not telling.
second call: brigadier general [REDACTED] von degurechaff, a old man in charge of the Empire's operations on Europa, only supposed to be called when absolutely, POSITIVLEY necessary. this circumstance defo fits that criteria, and as such, Bird calls him, finding that apparently he was just about to order a larger expedition team down into a similar unknown facility[hmm] before he was called. Bird tries to transmit her current coordinates to him only for them to be garbage data, first scanning towards the depths of empty space, then to right next to him, etc. the line goes slack as he gets pulled away by someone bursting into the room in a panic. it is then surmised that this is some kind of time loop.
after all that, they abandon the phone, Bird takes more dice out of her footlocker next to her bed, and right as the gang is about to leave they spot someone, a soldier wearing a suit of outdated orbital trooper gear with purple accents watching them from a far, one that the mention of gave Fox's player a mild jumpscare because
a.] that's just boldfaced one of my ocs. like literally, it was one of my halo ocs.
b.] THAT'S MINNESOTA. THAT'S LITERALLY THE OIC THAT GOT ME TO MEET FOX'S PLAYER.
Anyway, that's where we ended the session this week, overall fun I believe, see you all next week!
Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.

good afternoon fellow Overseers, as well as people that are reading for fun,
SESSION 25
potentially the half-way mark from our campaign. maybe.
so, we started exactly as we left last week, with Fox and the gang getting[mostly Fox] jumpscared by...….. the Tumblr roleplay oc that inadvertently set in motion the chain of events that lead to me actually running a ttrpg campaign in the first place, so everyone please thank Freelancer medical officer, Agent Minnesota, who fox immediately offered a cigarette to. I wish the comment section here allowed images, but alas, it does not, so I will do my best to describe her face under the helmet, since it was an entire skill check to help get her helmet off.
her skin is very pale, covered in freckles, long frizzy black hair with grey streaks, a permanent tired expression on her face, her normal eye is purple, however the left eye is fucked up, by that I mean black Sclera, teal iris, and a yellow pupil. the skin on the upper right half of her face is discoloured, taking on a mottled green appearance, her clothing is a suit of Orbital Shock Trooper armour, more specifically, a slightly older type of that armour. time to directly quote the group as a whole here! [for context, Minn was looking at Fox{the character} prior to walking up and actually communicating, by the way, is it too obvious that I've been re-playing Lobotomy corporation?]
Der Freischütz[Fox]: "I wave"
Manager: "they simply... keep looking"
Der Freischütz[Fox]: "I wave harder!"
Manager: "Despite their face being covered, it's hard NOT to tell that flicker of recognition as she looks at you. just enough to be like 'huh, you look a bit familiar' but not enough to recognise you as YOU."
Der Freischütz[Fox]: "she doesn't recognise me? wait say it again?"
Manager: "they don't recognise YOU per say, but they do recognise you in a more abstract way. Does that make sense?"
Fairy festival[Pixy]l: "like in the way that when you meet two people with the same face, the second person, you don't know them but you recognise them?"
Manager: "kinda? but it's more like "Imagine the experience of meeting a person[you know] but from an alternate universe where you had never met them and all that, like, their life went down a entirely different path. You would still recognise the person, and there would very likely still be some personality overlap, but you wouldn't necessarily be recognising them for who they are presently, you'd be recognising the person YOU know. from YOUR universe/timeline. that's what's happening"
anyway, Fox has to help her get her helmet off because it's stuck, once it's off, they get that facial description, Fox then offers the cigarettes, and Fox very consistently reminded our little Orbital Drop Shock Trooper of her brother, Fox[Tumblr deep-lore oc] heavily. Then Fox[here] says that his name is... what it is, and Minnesota experienced an emotion best described by the sounds of the table breaking in the infamous vine "Oh no! Our table!! it's broken!!!" which is accurate to the emotions of meeting an alternate universe version of your brother, and finding out that his particular brand of annoying bullshittery is just a multiversal constant. so is the concept of him having a metaphorical handler. yeah no, she shuts down for a minute. anyway, she says some cryptic shit before sending the team on their way, right across the hallway to... A school computer lab! finding family pictures from the human Fox previously was, with one figure mysteriously blacked out, on a computer with an eagle sticker on the side. they also find weird trackpad drawings of some non existent in-universe propaganda cartoon, school writing projects, and, on the pc for the teacher in charge of this class, student reports. one of which was about the Human Fox was based on and by reading it, you would think this teacher genuinely had it out for Fox like holy FUCK.
and that was where we left it off for this week.
OH DID WE MENTION THE PLASMA RIFLE BLUEPRINTS-
Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.

Hello friends, esteemed colleagues, fellow Overseers, Patron librarians, sinners and the like, sorry this one is a tad late, today's been busy, welcome to-
SESSION 26!!!
(funnily enough featuring [REDACTED])
this session began with a massive amount of clownery because the radiation poisoning is getting to us to be honest, anyway, Minnesota is a permanent fixture of the setting I guess or at least until I put Agent Minnesota back in the annoying [*&^%$] box, as well as Pixie being mentally accosted by the voice of Pixie's player's irl relative, [CENSORED]. Bird too I guess since mind reading and all.
After getting pissed off by the fact they can't read a particular document, Fox and Bird are both given a mild lobotomy via cordless drill to get the=rough the visual aspect of their perception filters, however I- uh, I mean Minnesota kinda messed up on Bird's one, and now she can physically interact with ghosts. our bad. Fox now gets to read how that teacher mentioned in the previous log was actively falsifying records of misconduct, also the document itself actively dissolves from a straight transcription of events to just the word "hate" repeated ad nauseum. including the writer misspelling the word hate. somehow.
anyway, they exit the room, and then go into the Adler bedroom. two things to note in there.
1). the bedroom, nor the study have a bed in them. [ok so, I looked back and uh..... yes, there actually is a bed in there, we simply did not notice at all. my bad.]
2). this guy has a lot of contraband books in here.
one of those, the book of the scorched girl[because that was the least threatening one Bird found]{and also because that's the abnormality that's been halting my progress on the floor of history so far} and gets sucked into the book, narrowly avoiding a fight with the aforementioned scorched girl, via Eve burning off the page that Bird was trapped in. the gang ended up finding the known issues document for an A.L.D.R unit, turns out that irl I would be slightly taller than one, how fun, and that's where we- no. no it's *not* where we ended things this week, I'm not going to kid myself.
before the end of the session, the three remaining[Eve's player had to leave] found a device, a personal recording device of sorts, finding out that, all replikas, National and Imperial, are manufactured by the same group. even before the nation splintered off. there's a third group lying in wait, somewhere. whatever they are.
THAT is where we ended. I'll see you all later this week/next week, my apologies for the delay, and the shorter update except actually that isn't something I can control so eh.
Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.

Hello esteemed colleagues, fellow Overseers, Managers, etc, I will dispense with the additional pleasantries and get straight to it!
SESSION 27!!
our session began again in the Adler bedroom, now WITH a bed which was simply ridiculously thin, with a book caught in an animation loop. the book itself, the book's cover does not have any words on it, only a tiny M.N.H.R logo, and while the contents of the book are innocuous[a mild dramatization of the life and times of a National mine technician], the room itself fills with the scent of either blood or rust, and after opening the door that SHOULD Lead to the A.L.D.R study, instead leading to the mystery flesh pit [-it being a national park] and because this is still meant to be a survival horror setting, they go dow- oh. that soldier tackled Pixie down the hole. that's annoying. they fall through many locations such as
- that place with the awful yellow wallpaper
-the library
- yeah that was it.
before eventually finding themselves inside a mining tunnel, dug miles beneath what we would know as the Atlantic ocean, and what was known to the proto-empire as the Euruskian Strait, although admittedly I did not actually communicate that during the session because uh...… to be completely honest I completely forgot to actually DO that.
unsurprisingly, the mine workers are both not thrilled to see these three interlopers and also, as you can imagine, extremely confused by the very existence of robots that looked like this because, as you might remember from the that brief time I flat out *could not DM this campaign* because of Virgin media being quite annoying that at this general period of human history, that Replikas, if even called that broadly at this time, are at MINIMUM eight meters tall, so these mine workers can barely tell that these simply are not humans, at most they could be weird specialised cyborgs, they wouldn't think these are actual machines, but regardless, they go towards a guy that seems like they're important, finding that the person that this is the mine supervisor, telling them that this tunnel keeps fucking with the Boring drills so they needed to poke and prod at the tunnel itself for a while since they needed to find out what the fuck was going on. the next thing they find is the humanGESTALT who's neural pattern was used for M.N.H.R units almost a century later. half her leg is gone. vertically. And yet somehow she's still LIMPING AFTER THE PARTY OUT OF MORBID CURIOSITY, but mostly to get to a nearby medical station, and upon getting there, the party is greeted with... LILYA?? or maybe a distant relative. since I don't expect you to remember all the names I bring up, so just to refresh your memory, that's the human that Lilith was based off of. gee, I wonder if that particular detail could possibly mean, it's almost as if this is alluding to the potential return of a certain medical psycho. Yeag I see that look on your face, "Who does she think she's fooling?" I get it dw, do me a favour, please do not open the door labelled "ANNOYING GHOSTLY TORSO THAT BITES PEOPLE" again because I accidentally did that, and consequentially, LILITH LEFT THE GREEN ROOM AND HAS OFFICIALLY COME BACK FROM THE [metaphorical]GRAVE AS A PARTY MEMBER, not before her ghost, a wholly separate entity for reasons I will intentionally leave vague because I don't actually have an explanation for it in mind, and also frankly because it's funnier to leave unexplained, and after a brief scuffle, including the ghost of Lilith briefly ripping Pixie's off and Pixie then immediately going into a frenzy before shutting off, thus forcing Minnesota to quickly pop in to reboot her, and while the others just see the standard Drop Troopers come in, open a panel on the back of Pixie's head, and bonk a CPU back into place. But Lilith knows what she saw, I believe. Or at least I'd like to think she does. that mass of wires beneath a cloak. a black square blocking the creature's visage from her view. now I get to transcribe a bit of dialogue directly {func_emotive-happiness}
[context, Minnesota = ensign, Lilith's lines should be obvious]
Ensign: "I thought you were supposed to be dead." [annoyed the whole way through]
Lily: "Apparently, I am not yet finished." [said as creepy as she can manage
Ensign: "It would be so nice if I was given any information about when a thing like you was supposed to show up beforehand." [more visibly annoyed by the lack of communication from the overseer now] [[it won't get better]]
Lily: "Oh I'm so sorry. did not exactly figure I would last this long" [disingenuous for most, bit of that usual murder-whimsy at the end though, shown via the voice getting higher in pitch]
Ensign: [sighing like she realised I demoted her again for the sake of a bit]
Lily: (breathy, evil giggle)
Ensign: "I'm sure some people here would've preferred if you hadn't come back. But eh, listen to me blabbering on." [tiredness creeps in about here]"I'll let you deal with.. the big one, oh and um..."
overseer, now right up Lilith's face: "do not break anything here before I get back."
[Ensign then promptly disappears into the ether]
Lily: (normal volume evil giggle) "I did not miss her"
[Ensign then pops back into reality to bonk Lily on the head and disappears again.]
as well as Lilith and the rest of the gang catching up again, as well as formal introductions between Pixie and Lilith Mc'Rips-arms-off-to-say-hi, also featuring Lilith being neurotic about people touching her which is a trait that looking back I didn't really mention in the early reports. Bird is actually the one that points out that we've gone backwards in time. Also Lilith and Lilya actually react to each other's presences and Lilya mentions that Lilith shouldn't be here. that goes exactly where you think[hint:NOWHERE]. and after Lilith mentions she's hungry and Lilya immediately shoots down her want to get into a medical waste bin, THAT was were we ended the session this week.
Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.
願皇后的祝福伴你一路前行
P.S: HOLY FUCK, THIS IS THE FIRST ONE IN A LONG ASS TIME THAT'S ACTUALLY OVER 6000 CHARACTERS LONG! ok look, I know that the actual character count doesn't actually matter much when writing a recap/status report but I have been in a major slump recently, and finally being able to push my writing past what felt to me like the bare minimum feels SO GOOD after all this time! also yeah, Lilith is back again! in fairness though she can't get in every week but in her player's own words, they want to show up as much as they can reasonably manage so I might also shuffle the visuals around a little bit for the individual replikas, or just strip Lilith of her faction-related paint next time. Goodbye! See you all next week!! Also sorry that this update took a bit too long to actually post. Also apologies for the poor language here in the post script.
good afternoon friends, it is good to see you all. To be quite honest I don't actually know how many people actually read these anyway. we're getting close to a section of the story of Signalis that I feel will be either annoying to plan/run or genuinely infuriating to run since we ended this session quite deep beneath the Europan ice.
SESSION 28
so, our session began in the field medical centre because we're still down in the tunnels under the Atlantic, with FOX now getting to get reacquainted with Lilith. if you remember, those two do not enjoy each other's company. they are actively hostile with each other. this little meet-cute was awful for both of them.
Lilith also realises that she's been stripped of her National branding, and any equipment she had on her before she...…. suddenly exploded.
Denial is still a river in Egypt, one that Eve is continuing to drown in, side note-
"we should uh, keep in mind that Eve is the closest thing to a fetish object for Lilith so we should-"
- K.L.B.R-C1-04 "BIRD", afternoon of Thursday, August 13th 2026 at approximately 20:45 PM GMT+1
[I will not elabourate, it's funnier if I don't] [[Lilith's fetish object was RIBBONS by the way. RIBBONS.]]
Fox and Lilith have a chat about the things, including the anti-matter rifle Fox got his hands on, the two threaten each other in a circle, Bird catches a stray in the middle of it funnily enough, as Lilith mentions "If you die I'll just go back to seeing Bird as spare parts" which prevents Fox from dying on purpose, they chat about how Pixie showed up here, Fox thinks that the Empire and Nation are still sending people down to the clown hell, Bird mentions the timeloop DIRECTLY, Lilith starts chortling as per usual.
various responses to Lilith Mouth noises
[in no particular order]
"Oh...... stop licking your lips ya fuckin freak.[said in character]" - Pixie
"Asmr {in brackets, '(Bad)'}" - fox
"Asmr {in brackets, '(shut up)'} - me
"Asmr [uncomfortable, makes you feel bad, NOT CLICKBAIT]" - fox again
(SFX_PLAY-LAUGH4.WAV) - lilith
breezing past some mildly unimportant bits, we get to something that, admittedly, is partially done for spectacle, which I will attempt to transcribe in whatever detail is truly necessary here
Overseer: "as you continue moving, you start hearing something... big. granted physical size is not typically measured by audio produced by physical movement but in fairness you can fucking infer that. generally speaking. I trust your ability to observe and understand to stimuli. Something big is coming down the tunnel. it's unclear as to what DIRECTION it's coming from, but it's coming down the tunnel regardless."
Bird: "Question: what shape is the tunnel we're in?"
Overseer: "Uh... big tube with metal flooring on the bottom so you can actually walk normally."
Bird: "cool"
overseer: "I gotta go far back in the notes to find how big this thing actually is."
[silence for nearly a full minute]
overseer: "The first thing the lot of you see, lumbering out of the darkness, is a set of between 8 and 9 eyes, high enough to be almost at the roof of the tunnel, as what could almost be described as some kind of metal dragon or something, walks through the tunnel. it's a generation ONE replika.-"
Lilith: "W H A T."
overseer: "from back when calling these things a 'replika' was a novel turn-of-phrase only really used to refer to certain kinds of supreme machines[if only retroactivly] despite being..... well THAT, it's surprisingly passive, although looking at the thing it's carrying and also the fat that it's nine-and-a-half meters tall I feel pretty confident in saying 'yeah, you don't want to fuck with that."
this marks the first, but by no means the last physical appearance of the type-101 "Nashorn" [or the type-909 "聖甲蟲" in case the imperials drop by], admittedly with some minor changes to height and body plan. the original idea was that these units were mostly humanoid, 4.5 meter tall units, however these new iterations are 9.5 meters tall[when FULLY PRONE.], with a body plan between that of Clover from hit movie Cloverfield and the THR-1000 "EATRHMOVER". plus some extra arms and all that.
Lilith thinks this thing is "Friend shaped", it takes mild interest in Pixie, deploys "tactical CRT monitor head for :]" before petting her. the Nashorn has a pilebunker do not the machine.
eventually however, the party is thrust back into our clutches, where, mildly to my chagrin, they are brought to a tunnel leading into the mines [don't wory they'll still get that elevator sequence, before Lilith and Pixie are pulled into a boldfaced deltarune refence after messing with a payphone, well more accuratly, only lilith interacts with anything there, Pixie just watches Lilith scare some weird kid, and get a grenade shell for a yet-to-be-introduced weapon, as well as a weird new respirator, AND the TATTERED REMAINS OF HER OLD DOCTOR'S COAT! before eventually returning to the land of the living, and that was where we ended this session!
loot gained:
Vacuum respirator: DO NOT ISSUE TO GESTALTS, WILL KILL THEM. it creates an internal vacuum effect, there is NO OXYGEN GETTING IN THAT MASK
37x32mm high velocity, high explosive grenade shell: turn a guy into liquid with more accuracy than what a low-velocity grenade can ever compare to.
tatters: didn't actually take it out of the pocket dimension anyway so idk why I mentioned it here actually... foreshadowing maybe??
goodbye for now!!
Möge das wachsame Auge der großen Revolutionäre euch Sicherheit bringen.
願皇后的祝福伴你一路前行
P.s I know you're reading these Lilith, I need advice on doing a fake-out ending here. also, to everyone else, sorry that this one and the last ones have been so late, I have been so busy recently.
