This is fun i liked the turtle roomba and the toasters were well animated, the accessibility is great , liked the style. It was a bit laggy on the browser but that is undetrstandable as mine is as well.
I enjoyed using all 4 of the abilities at once. However on the web build when I held shift and right click it kept popping up a Save Image As window.
Good, strange game though -- it's like the Brave little Toaster
Thank you! Yeah, I noticed the exact same issue far too late unfortunately. You can rebind the ability inputs in the settings to avoid that problem, but it is quite difficult to pick keybinds that don't make WASD difficult to use. We're continuing to develop the game so will definitely be taking a closer look at how to improve that. I appreciate the feedback!
Fun game! The music really fit the vibes, The knockback when using the charged attack (LMB) felt great. I couldn't use the other attacks (playing on Web build), not sure if they had to be unlocked first? Nice submission!
Enemies drop ability cards as loot and you can slot them into slots 2, 3 and 4 at the end of the level. Glad you had fun with Dash though! We spent some time tuning that so it would feel fun to use without the other abilities. Thanks for playing :)
I see the ability cards now, but I'm not sure how to "activate" them if that makes sense? It says I have to do it in between waves, but the time in between waves is so short that it doesn't give me enough time to figure out how to purchase the load outs...
It's in between levels. There's only one level, but after you finish its waves (there are four in total), you can exit the level via the Exit Portal, which takes you to a screen where you can review your cards and equip them - then you can replay the level to try them out. We were planning a Living Room level next but sadly it didn't quite make it in!
Ah got it. I never made it past wave 4 of the first level… damn those sentient toasters! Lmao
This is such a cute concept for a game! I also had framerate issues cause my laptop is a potato, but I doubt that's a game issue lol! Had a great time playing it, I do wish the force was a little lower but I also enjoyed the weight of hitting the enemies as well!
This game feels so good. I love the concept of each enemy and the way they fight you back. The fighting is very well made and challenging. Good work!
P.S. This could also be a great concept for a multiplayer game!
This game is a lot of fun, and I love the low poly art!
It's interesting how the animations and sound really brought stuff to life, the game feel was really good. And i love the wiggly little antenna lol. Nice work!
This is quite addictive, but my PC is so bad that I get fps drops hahahaha, amazing game
Died because I was too busy vibing with the soundtrack. Nice work! You guys should be proud of this gem.
Thank you!
Great polish on this game, well done!
Thank you!
I loved following your progress on this, and it turned out really well! Fun gameplay, charming style, and great audio. My only complaint is that it could use a little more balancing (the steam seemed especially overpowered since it was easy to spam), but other than that, I enjoyed playing!
Great work!
Thank you! You're right, we definitely neglected balance until way too late. I didn't even notice the Steam ability has no cooldown until after the deadline, haha. Whoops!
... may have forgotten to add it again after using it for testing!
love beating up kitchen appliances and things
