Painful to play. The whole gameplay is just click and read some random crap about nothing. The game is just a collection of fluff text about nothing with cure art style. There is no running mechanic so navigation around maps takes an absurd amount of time. Can't proceed dialogues with keyboard (doing it via a small button in the bottom right corner is a bad UX). "Puzzles" require you to click around everything in hopes of finding a trigger to proceed further. No settings options... The game runs at 900+ fps sometimes causing my PC to heat up like an oven. The chair can be pushed only once but the option to do so persists afterwards. There is a broken invisible wall in the lake area that allows players to go out of bounds. The whole thing is very tumblr codded...
Hi! ( ´ ꒳ ` )
Thank you for such a detailed and honest analysis. I was a bit disappointed at first, but you're absolutely right—this is literally a complete to-do list for me.
I hadn't realized it before, but now I'll limit the FPS and add keyboard controls to dialogs. Also, working on implementing running for convenient movement, and the bug with the chair and the invisible wall in the lake are already on my priority list to fix. I'll try to make the gameplay and UX much more comfortable by release. I'm glad at least the visual style is working!
